He stopped just before reaching my desk.
Thank fuck.
‘You okay?’ He frowned. ‘You seem… distracted.’
‘I’m fine.’
‘No. You’re off your game. I can tell when you’re not focused. You’re not still obsessing over that employee, Eleanor, are you? You really should consider making me or Seb her point of contact like I suggested. We can’t afford any more fuck-ups.’
Great. Now Ellie would know that I’d been obsessing over her to such a degree that even my brothers were aware.
She started sucking my dick with more enthusiasm, clearly pleased at this revelation and I desperately tried to keep a straight face, which was hard because she was doing some shit that felt fucking fantastic.
‘I-I know,’ I stuttered. ‘Don’t worry.’
‘Hmmm,’ he said, clearly not convinced.
Heath turned to leave and I breathed a sigh of relief. As soon as he was in the lift, Ellie could get out from under my desk.
As much as I wanted her to continue, I wouldn’t be able to focus on a video call whilst she was giving me head.
Just when I thought I was in the clear, Heath stopped and his gaze went to the chair opposite my desk.
‘Why’s there a handbag on the floor?’ He frowned.
Shit.
‘Is there?’ I swallowed hard, stalling for time. ‘Maybe it’s Valerie’s?’
‘Valerie has had the same handbag for as long as I can remember and I’m no fashionista, but I’m pretty sure that a modern, bright fire engine red bag isn’t her style. Have you got a woman here?’ His eyes narrowed with suspicion.
Fuck.
‘Can you see anyone?’ I rolled my eyes, my heart thundering against my ribcage.
If it was Seb or Oscar, they’d probably laugh it off. Actually, Oscar would give me a pat on the back. But Heath was too buttoned-up for that. He always played by the rules and he was pissed when I got involved with Pandora.
He warned me that it wouldn’t end well and he was right.
I’d sworn that I wouldn’t let it happen again.
Yet here I was with my dick buried in an employee’s mouth whilst he was standing ten feet away from me.
Blood or not, if he knew I’d fucked Ellie, he’d call an emergency meeting and recommend that my behaviour was reported to the board.
And he’d be right.
‘Maybe they’re hiding.’ He cocked his head.
‘And maybe Father Christmas and the Tooth Fairy are real.’
‘That makes no sense.’ His frown deepened.
The ring of a video call vibrated around my office and never had I been so relieved to see Seb’s name pop up on my computer screen.
‘Can I get this or do you have more stupid questions to ask?’
‘Fine.’ Heath huffed as I quickly accepted the call.
