BLAKE

‘Mr Devlin! Mr Devlin! Are you okay?’

When I slowly opened my eyes, there was an angel staring at me.

I was surprised I’d ended up in heaven.

Given some of the things I’d done in my life, I thought I’d be sent straight to hell.

Looked like the afterlife was full of surprises.

I wasn’t complaining though. If this was what all the angels looked like, I’d be more than happy to stay here.

The angel’s face was beautiful, but it was her gorgeous tits that were hovering over my chest that currently had my full attention.

She moved, giving me a prime view of her nipples which were straining against her fitted top, begging to be set free.

I’d happily volunteer to help by taking them in my mouth then sucking them nice and hard.

After that I’d…

My eyes fluttered shut.

‘Mr Devlin!’ the angel said. Seconds later, I felt a sting on my cheek.

When my eyes flicked open, the angel’s hand was pressed against my face.

‘Did you just slap me?’ I grimaced, dragging myself upright.

A sharp pain shot through my wrist.

‘Oh thank God!’ she said. ‘Sorry for slapping you. I thought you’d passed out, so I was trying to wake you up!’

I squinted.

This couldn’t be heaven.

I always imagined there’d be harps and violins playing, but instead dance music assaulted my eardrums.

And the beautiful angel didn’t have a halo or white gown.

No complaints though. That tight Lycra outfit got my vote every time.

‘Where am I?’ I said.

‘At the gym,’ the woman who I now realised wasn’t an angel said. ‘You fell off the treadmill. Are you okay? Your arms seemed to take the brunt of the blow not your head so I thought you’d be all right, but you seem disorientated?’

‘The gym?’ I repeated. I looked around and saw a treadmill, some weights and other training equipment.

Shit.

A flashback popped into my mind.

I was running on the treadmill.

Eleanor came in.

I told her about our lingerie manufacturer shit-show and she gave me some suggestions for in-store events.
