I kept thinking about my boss. Hoping he’d call me to his office. It was Monday and he’d said we’d talk today, so what was he waiting for?
Then again, he probably wanted to forget the whole thing had ever happened. I wished I could.
I attempted to focus on work again.
Calista said I’d done a great job with the press release I’d written before, so she’d given me another one which I had to finish by the end of the day.
There was no way I’d make the deadline if I couldn’t think straight.
My evil brain kept replaying ever single detail of that night.
The way Mr Devlin undressed me with his eyes when he first saw me.
How he’d come to find me because he was jealous of Joe.
The way he’d pinned me against the wall.
How he’d played my clit like it was an instrument and he was a master musician.
And how he’d made me come so hard.
I challenged any woman to experience the touch of the hottest man in the universe and not end up in the toilet with the Lip-Stick between their legs like I was now because they were so desperate to take the edge off.
It was totally understandable.
I was sure other women did this too.
Some people took cigarette breaks to calm their nerves. I’d just taken a teeny, tiny mastur-break. No big deal. Right?
Right?
I shook my head with shame.
Once I’d cleaned myself up, used the hygiene wipe for the toy and popped it back in my handbag, I washed my hands and returned to my desk.
A few hours later, the press release was complete. The words had flowed onto the page so well I’d even worked through my lunch break.
See. That orgasm had worked wonders.
But now I was hungry.
My phone buzzed on my desk.
When I looked at the screen I saw there were messages from Joe in the group chat Dana had set up for the three of us. I was so happy when she asked if I’d like to join. They’d become really good friends.
Joe
Coffee break in the canteen in ten?
I’ve got some good news and can’t wait until after work to share it!
A wide grin spread across my face. I quickly typed out a reply.
Me
Congratulations! Can’t wait to hear more! I missed lunch so I’m definitely up for meeting in the canteen. See you there.
