With his first thrust, my head falls back onto the bench with an audible thunk, but I don’t care. I can’t. I’m too lost, drowning in the sensations that he’s wringing from my body.
“Damn baby, your pussy is trying to strangle my fucking fingers. You going to come for me, gorgeous?”
I nod furiously, bringing a smile to Mateo’s face. I can’t see it, but I definitely feel it in the second before he sucks my clit back into his mouth. Hard.
Curling his fingers at the same time, he massages the spot that I’ve only ever hit with a toy and when his teeth scrape against my clit again, I detonate with a cry. Fireworks explode behind my eyes as they roll to the back of my head.
But Mateo doesn’t stop.
He applies more pressure to my lower stomach as he quickens his ‘come hither’ motion. My first orgasm has barely ended and already, a second, more intense and uncontrollable pressure is building.
The familiar feeling is terrifying and the memory of an old boyfriend’s reaction has me pushing his head away. Of course, he refuses to budge, releasing a long, low groan without so much as lifting his head. It’s the final crack in my carefully constructed dam, blowing the flood gates wide open.
Literally.
With a ragged, silent scream, a flood of pleasure crashes over me, leaving my limbs shaking and chest heaving.
He finally pulls back, placing one last gentle kiss on my oversensitive clit. I’m still reeling, trying to find the energy to lift my head when Mateo’s cocky grin appears above me. The sight of his soaking wet shirt has my jaw dropping and face flushing with embarrassment as the reality of what happened slams into me. “Merde, I’m so sorry…”
“Why the hell are you saying sorry? I loved every second of that shit. You squirting all over my face was the hottest thing ever, gorgeous. You better get over the whole embarrassment thing. Now that I know, I’m going to make you do it again and again.”
I drop my eyes to hide from the honesty in his, but rather than the floor as intended, my gaze lands on his still tented shorts. Motioning to his…situation, I ask, “Do you want help with that? It doesn’t look too comfortable.”
“No need.” He shakes his head, chuckling under his breath and readjusting himself. “That was so hot, I came in my fucking shorts like a damn teenager.”
Now that he mentions it, there is a wet patch next to the bulge. He enjoyed that so much that he came without touching himself?
When I look back up, Mateo’s face is inches from mine. His eyes bounce between mine, seeking something. He must find it because he closes the distance between us to plant a soft, sweet kiss on my lips. Weirdly, I don’t hate the way the musky taste of my release still coats his lips. It’s kind of hot.
Again Mateo drops to his knees, this time to wipe my thighs with a towel he produced from thin air before grabbing my clothes. He helps me stand and watches as I step into my slacks and hands over my blouse. It’s not until I go to tuck my shirt in that I remember I’m missing my panties.
Yeah, because he ripped them.
I don’t want to leave them for someone to find, so I start looking around for them. I see a flash of pink disappearing into Mateo’s pocket before a roguish grin takes over his face and he shrugs. “A souvenir.” Then as if he didn’t just flip my world upside down, he winks at me and strides out the door.
1. Oh osti! Criss! = Oh god! Fuck!
Chapter 19
Mateo
“So, you expect me to believe that the two of you aren’t actually dating?” Skepticism drips from every word coming out of Coach’s mouth as we explain the situation. “That there are absolutely no feelings here? Because I saw those pictures. You two are either real good actors or real shitty liars.”
I snort, earning a glare from Élise. “Coach, as I told you before, Élise and I didn’t really know one another at that time. She asked for help because she was being harassed. I thought she was insanely attractive, and she clearly liked what she saw,” I explain while jokingly making an arrogant gesture down my body.
She rolls her eyes but doesn’t argue as I continue, “So yeah, there is definitely chemistry, but no, we are not dating. Garrett thinks this is the best way to handle the tabloid issue moving forward.”
Realizing I don’t plan to finish, she picks up the story, “We agreed to ‘date’ for six months.” Her use of air quotes on the word ‘date’ irritates me, even if it is technically accurate. “After that, we break up without providing fodder to the press and go our separate ways. Reyes can’t lose more sponsors, and my name can’t be in the tabloids like this. “
“Six months?” Coach confirms, watching us carefully as we both nod..
I’m not sure how I expect Coach to react, but a derisive snort is definitely not it. At least this conversation is going better than the one she had with her brother. From what little she’s told me, Henri did not take it well.
“Yeah, you two are going to end up together. This happens all the time. Athletes get a fake partner for one reason or another, and eight times out of ten, they end up together. You said it yourself, Reyes. You two already have chemistry and attraction. It’ll happen. I give it a month.”
Lena, our assistant coach, pops her head through the shared doorway that leads to her office, clearly having eavesdropped. “I’ll take that bet, Ry. But I think they will hold out until the last minute. Once the deal ends, they will realize that they love each other. Say, three hundred?”
Élise and I gape at the two of them when a third voice joins the fray, “Make it five hundred, and I say three months.”
