Atlas’s brows pull together, and I lick my lips.

“I really need to touch you right now.”

He nods softly. I reach inside and cup his balls before sliding my hand up and wrapping my fingers around his dick. “Go easy on me.”

I smile. “Just this once.”

I lower onto my knees and shimmy his sweats down over his ass. His soft cock hangs there. He’s fucking perfect. I look up at him and take him in my mouth. We moan at the same time as I flick my tongue under his head.

After a moment his dick is still limp.

I look up, confused.

“Ah—” He scratches the back of his head.

“Should I be offended?” I laugh.

“It’s the concussion, I swear.”

“Sure, sure.”

“Hey! It’s the concussion! My doctor said it could happen for a couple of days.”

I rise, pulling up his sweats slowly, but I shove my hands inside the back to squeeze his ass. “I can do it to you,” he whispers.

“No, you need to rest. I’m okay.” Standing this close to him, I don’t care. I’m just happy he’s okay. I kiss him softly.

“I should go.” He smiles sadly. “I have strict rest rules.”

“I mean, you can rest here,” I say way too fast.

“My friends are playing tonight. I want to watch them.”

“Watch it here.”

“But you hate hockey.”

My lips quirk. “Yes, well. It seems I hate the idea of you watching it somewhere else more.”

Atlas stares at me for a minute too long. “You don’t want me to go?”

“More like . . . I wouldn’t care if you’d want to stay.”

His smile grows on his handsome face. He’s so fucking gorgeous, and when I look into his eyes there’s an innocence and joy about them. Then I think about the night he called, the bad day he told me about, and I don’t know . . . there might be more to him than he’s showing me. I think I want to get to know that side of him too.

“Say it, Gage.”

His fingers curl into my pants, pulling me forward into a kiss I’m too weak to stop. He doesn’t move to do more, he just stands there for a lingering moment with his lips pressed tightly to mine.

Then he releases me.

My jaw ticks at the goofy look in his eyes as he waits. I sigh.

“I don’t want you to go, Atlas.”
