His head falls back against my shoulder as he holds up the paper. “A list of things I want to do with you.”

My eyes scan the list.

1 Go swimming at night.

2 Take a vacation after we win the cup

3 See you in my jersey at a game

4 Make you something you’ve never had before

5 Make you my favorite food, Paella

6 Learn something new together

7 Get you to show me your collection

I lean my head to let it rest on his. A breathy laugh escapes at that last one.

“You really want to see my collection?” I rasp against the shell of his ear.

His whole body shudders, and I take advantage of the situation and lightly bite down on the meaty part of his shoulder. He tenses before relaxing under me.

“Maybe if you’re a good boy.”

He groans and wraps his hand around the back of my neck.

“I’ll show you a piece or two later.” I rasp against his ear.

His hand flexes against me, and the evidence of my words lies thick in his pants. My mouth dries at the sight. Shit, he wasn’t kidding. From the outline of it, he might actually destroy me. Why does the thought excite me?

“Hmm…” I dig my nails into the planes of his chest. “I think you like that idea, don’t you?”

I yelp at the speed he stands, spinning around faster than he should be able to, and pulling me up by the backs of my thighs and backing me into the nearest bookshelf. His eyes are wild, his jaw clenching, neck veiny like I imagined it was when I messed with him the other day.

“Don’t push me, Princesa,” he growls before his lips slam into mine.

He kisses me with a ferocity that has my hips moving against him in an attempt to smother the fire running through my veins. His tongue pushes into my mouth, one hand cradling the back of my head to keep it from hitting the shelf behind me, the other squeezing the life out of the back of my thigh.

He roughly pulls away from me, and I immediately reach back out to bring him close again. He bites down on his lip ring, eyes bouncing between mine and my lips. “Tell me, Kaitlyn,” he says as he buries his head in the crook of my neck.

He’s silent for a second before his lips find that sensitive spot right behind my ear. Placing open mouth kisses up and down until he bites on the same spot I did on him.

“Do you like the thought of me taking you right here, in your place of work, where anyone could walk in and see us?”

I moan as the warmth of his tongue runs over my collarbone.

“You do, don’t you?” His dark chuckle has me trying to close my legs, but since they’re wrapped around him, they don’t move.

A quick swat to my thigh has me yelping. “You think you’re the only one with… preferences.” He rubs over the spot he just smacked.

“I can be as good or as bad as you want me to be.” He rolls his hips into me, and I gasp. Yup, the man is going to ruin me.

“But, don’t talk all this talk if you’re not going to back it up, mi reina.*”

He slowly lowers me down the front of his body, placing a chaste kiss on my lips when my feet touch the floor. My head is spinning. What is he doing? Why is he putting me down? And what happened to Princesa? What does this new nickname even mean?

His lips meet my forehead, and he whispers, “See you at home.”
