“It’s you...” She groaned. “You’re the one that feels... Oh my God.... Kaede.... Kaede.... Kaede!”

Her heat gripped him so tightly, he was unable to stop himself from following her over the edge. They came together, hard. He kept pounding her as her body milked him. Her pussy was drinking him in, swallowing him down, the same way he’d swallowed her essence down.

He couldn’t hold back. The pleasure was too great. He let out a roar that shook the windows. Glass shattered. He didn’t give a damn. It wasn’t near them. It wasn’t going to stop them from experiencing this bliss.

Sin screamed his name again. He was still coming. She was still milking him. He had no idea how long this would last. But he wasn’t complaining. Sweat dripped from his forehead as he thrust again and again, until every drop of him was spent.

Until both of their bodies trembled uncontrollably. Kaede fought to catch his breath. Aftershocks rocked him. There were no words to describe the pleasure he’d just experienced. Mind blowing. Life changing. Neither of those phrases described it adequately.

There were no words. All he could do was hold her close. She too, clung to him. Neither of them said a word. They simply laid there, sweaty, sticky, wrapped in each other’s embrace. He didn’t know how long they laid like that. Her voice finally filled the air.

“Kaede?”

“Yes, treasure.”

“I’ve never come like that before.”

Pride filled him.

“Kaede.”

“Yes, treasure.”

“Can we do that again?”

He raised up to stare down at her. “We’re going to do this all night.”

A FEW WEEKS LATER.

––––––––

HE HADN’T LIED TO HERon their first night.

He literally, fucked her all night long. They showered twice. They fucked in the shower twice. A few more times in the bed. She even rode his face. That seemed to be his favorite position. Hers had been doggy style.

Having him grip her hips as he pounded her from behind was fucking amazing. It was morning before they finally relaxed in each other’s embrace. By then, the headboard was broken, the sheets were ripped to shreds and the windows were shattered.

A few people had knocked on their door. They ignored it all. The only thing that mattered right now was the two of them. And that mindset continued for the next few weeks. They were on their honeymoon, technically.

So, everyone left them alone. Kaede only left the house to get food and to go to meetings with his team to be updated on any TD activity. So far, they’d only sent one more attacker after them.

Nachik and Lee handled that situation before it could escalate. Sin knew something big was coming. The Deciders had to be pissed that none of their goons had succeeded. Sin felt like something dark, dangerous was heading their way.

They were ready. And for that reason, she tried not to let that feeling steal her daily joy. Every night, she lie in bed and listened to her mate tell her stories about his past, about his family and about his culture.

He was hella old. But not older than some people she’d met here. He wouldn’t tell her about his parents. He just said they died on the day he was cursed. She could tell it hurt for him to talk about it.

So, she didn’t pressure him. Neither did he pressure her to talk about Winter. Though they were officially together now, it would be a while before they told each other everything. And that was okay. They had forever together.

Kaede told her that he would find a way for them to leave this place. She told him she would be looking for a way to. She couldn’t tell him about Winter or about the way she communicated with her family. She hated keeping it from him.

One day, she’d reveal it all. One day. Just not right now. Christmas arrived, bringing with it a snowstorm. They remained inside, snuggled up together. Sin cooked them a delicious dinner, with Lee’s help of course.

There were a dozen presents under their little pink tree. The children in the village had made her jewelry. Lee made her more of that amazing hair oil. But it was Kaede’s gift that made her smile the most. When she opened the box, her face lit up. She stared up at him with tears in her eyes.

“I know it’s not much,” he told her. “But I know you missed the one you had.”
