The guys watch him until he disappears completely into the crowd.

“Let’s get a picture!” Sutton claps as she pulls out her phone, handing it over to Ink.

We all walk over to the big tree that’s far enough from the fire so you can still see us and we won’t look like a giant orange blob.

Just as I’m backing up, I bump into a hard body.

“I’m so sorry,” I say quickly as I turn around with my hand up.

“Don’t worry about it, sweetheart.” A man with a black cut on, that looks a lot like the one Hash and his brothers wear, smirks, his eyes roaming my body as he looks at me like there’s something he knows and I don’t.

I freeze, my body unable to move as I stare blankly at the man.

There’s something about him that seems so familiar… something that’s making me scream danger in my head.

Don’t worry about it, sweetheart.

Oh, my God.

The voice!

It’s him!

It feels like there’s a hand around my neck, squeezing tighter and tighter as I take in his Black Diamonds club logo on his cut.

Rail.

That’s his name.

I can’t breathe.

“Aisling! Get in here!” I hear Evan yell, but I can’t move.

I’m frozen in fear as I watch Rail retreat into the crowd, smirking at me the entire time he struts backwards until he disappears.

“You okay, baby doll? You looked freaked the fuck out,” Hash asks in my ear as he comes up to me.

I swallow the fear that’s clogging my throat, trying to suffocate me. “It’s him.”

“Who?” Hash asks, confused as he looks around.

“The guy who broke into my place.” My hand comes up and rubs at the area of my throat that felt like there was a hand squeezing me. “He’s here.”

“What the fuck?” Hash growls as he spins around, his hand going to the gun he has tucked in his waistband. “What did he look like?”

I hear him, but I’m too busy staring at the spot he disappeared, waiting for him to pop back out and attack me.

“Aisling!” Hash barks. “What. Did. He. Fucking. Look. Like.”

“Black cut like yours with a logo that says Black Diamonds. The name Rail was underneath that.”

“Excuse me?” Hash’s voice takes on a lethal whisper that makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

For the first time since Hash appeared at my side, I turn to look at him. My throat drops into my stomach at seeing the look of murder swirling in the depths of his green eyes.
