Wicked with the Mountain Man

by Lara London

"Hello, Ginny, dear," my aunt says.

The woman turns around with a smile and it's like my heart starts beating for the first time. A bright light shines around the gorgeous, curvy bombshell standing in front of me. She has dark brown hair and eyes the color of melted chocolate. My mouth drops open and I wouldn't be surprised if a little drool wasn't forming a puddle on the floor.

"Hi, Betty," she says before glancing at me. If I thought I was a goner before, the second she speaks I'm ready to hand my heart over. Her voice is like a siren's call.

Ginny's eyes widen, her eyes raking over my body and I'm suddenly painfully aware of what I'm wearing.

"She made me wear this," I blurt out and Ginny looks at Betty with a grin.

"Alright, you two," Betty says without acknowledging what I've said in the least. "We are not going to have time to check on you today, so I hope you are okay being completely alone to get all these goodie bags done."

All alone for the day?

Ginny and I look at each other like we've had the same thought, and her cheeks turn the prettiest pink I've ever seen in my life.

Suddenly, this morning is looking up.

Chapter 2

Ginny

"Hello."

The impossibly deep voice belongs to the sexiest man I've ever seen in real life, and my mouth drops open like I'm some kind of zany cartoon character.

His hair is dark brown, almost black, and his eyes are a bright blue. They peer directly into my soul, and I'm shocked my tongue doesn't roll from my mouth. He has a square jaw sporting scruff that I'd like to feel between my legs. His shirt is tight, which is not a look I typically enjoy but it puts his muscles on full display and I'm not complaining.

My panties are soaked before he's even managed to sit down at the table next to me.

The clean scent of soap and mint washes over me and I'd like to bottle it up for later, and then maybe un-bottle it as I'm taking care of business tonight and dreaming about what those large hands could do to me.

I realize I'm staring at him like a googly-eyed fool even after he's asked me a question and I shake my head quickly, my cheeks on fire as I try to force myself to listen.

Did I even nod or say hello back? Oh my god. I didn't catch his name.

"So, it looks like we need to stuff each party bag with three of these." Sexy Man points at the bins filled with candy. "And then, three of those." He nods toward the piles of spooky stickers, erasers, pencils, and plastic spiders as he reads the directions Violet printed up for us.

We are in charge of making the prize bags, which each kid attending the festival is guaranteed to walk away with, whether they win one of the numerous games or not.

He looks at me again and I force myself to nod.

"Yes," I chirp, not trusting myself with a full sentence yet, apparently.

His eyes drop to my mouth and my heart soars, but then he slides the chair closer to the table and gets to work. I snap my face forward and reach for one of the cellophane bags, rubbing it between my hands to open it as I try desperately to figure out what to say.

Violet and Naomi invited me to town for the famous fall festival, and I was thrilled to help. We went to school together and they have both built incredible lives in Duhring Park. I've been a flight attendant for the last fifteen years and I'm considering a career change, so when the girls suggested a visit, it felt like a sign.

If I had known Sexy Pants McGee was waiting for me, I would have come to visit much sooner.

"Sorry, I, uh..." Blacked out when I saw how gorgeous you are?

I try to tamp down the crazy and make a joke out of not catching his name. "Um, I'm Ginny, by the way. And, you are The Stud Finder, or do you prefer Mr. Stud Finder? Your shirt isn't exactly clear on that."

I hold out my hand and Steamy Pecs turns to me with a grin.

"Knox," he says, taking my hand like he hasn't just exploded my brain with the way his face lights up when he smiles. "Aunt Betty made me wear this."

I laugh and his eyes light up. Oh no. He's going to make me fall in love with him.
