“They all parked closer, I came over to get you guys.” he answers.

She locks her car.

“Let’s fucking gooooooo.” she says as she links her arm with mine.

We start walking before he suddenly stops and turns to me. “Your staying after eight right? Your eighteen?”

I try to mask my face as I keep up the lie. I mean, its a fair or carnival. Were they really going to check my ID?

“Yes.” I say, hoping my voice sounded as steady as it could.

He grins. “Hell yeah!”

We keep walking until we hit a group of people standing near the entrance.

“Willow!!” a man shouts out as he leaves the group and runs towards her.

She squeals as he picks her up and gives her a long kiss.

I look away to not be caught gawking at them.

“Set me down Justin.” she says.

He sets her down before facing me.

“Who are you?”

He was tall too. With light caramel skin and short hair.

“This is.” Willow moves away from him to walk next to me. “My new friend, Raven.”

He studies me for a second before he just nods. “I’m Justin. Nice to meet you.”

I nod and say likewise.

“Everyone, this is Raven. Raven, this is everyone.” Willow says as she gestures to the rest of the group.

It was a few girl and few guys.

“Hi.” I say to them with a wave.

“Now, let’s get our ticket so we can enjoy the fair before it closes.” Justin says.

We all agree and finally head to the entrance.

A big stand was there with several people in a striped uniform waiting for the next customer.

“Hello. How many tickets?” a pretty woman with a bun asks us.

“Two for us.” Willow says as she tries to hand over her card.

Justin intercepts and slides his over to the cashier instead.

“Yeah, I don’t think so.”

She rolls her eyes, but I see her lips tilt in a smile.

“Will you be purchasing a ticket for the carnival as well?” the lady asks them.
