“I saw you, well not you, chase after her and I got……”

I didn’t even want to say it.

“…..jealous.”

I swallowed.

“I know I don’t have any right to be.”

I stepped closer.

“But I was.”

I looked down.

What the fuck was I doing.

I needed to go home and go the fuck to bed.

His hand moved suddenly.

He caught my chin and tilted my face up to look at him.

My breath caught.

He held my gaze through the mask.

I stepped closer.

He let me move him.

I kept walking him backwards.

The faint glow of the carnival was nearby in the distance, but it was almost completely dark out here, with just the light from the moon shining.

His body reaches a tree and I step even closer.

His hand dropped from my chin to rest on my waist.

It felt so natural.

I leaned closer before pressing a small kiss on the center of his chest.

My hands curled up around his broad shoulders.

I wanted his mouth on mine.

Now.

But, I knew there was too much light out here, and he wouldn’t let me remove the mask.

Times before, somehow he was able to control the lighting in all the places we’ve kissed.

But, outside, that was going to be impossible.

I placed another kiss on his chest and looked up at him.

“I need to kiss you.”
