Sullivan didn’t even respond to his brother as he sat down.
But that wasn’t unusual since he doesn’t really talk that much from what I’ve seen and heard.
I told myself I was going to have a chat with him before I left tonight. He was family to my boyfriends, and I at least wanted to make an effort.
I reminded myself that, before I felt someone drop into the empty seat that was now beside me.
I glanced over.
A guy I’d seen at the bar earlier. Tall and wiry with a leather jacket and a mustache.
“Hey.”
Oh, he was talking to me.
“Um, hi.”
He smiled.
“You having a good night?”
“Yeah.”
I turned back to Willow.
The conversation they were having continued.
A few seconds later, the guy leaned closer.
“You come here often?”
I almost laughed.
“Not really.”
“That’s too bad.”
I gave him a polite smile.
Then turned away.
He didn’t take the hint.
“So, are you single?”
I glanced at Sebastian who was talking to someone else across the table.
The guy looked at him.
Then back at me.
“He your boyfriend?”
I nodded.
“Doesn’t look like he’s your boyfriend.”
I frowned.
