I breathed out slowly.

“Yeah, he is.”

He looked down and clenched his jaw.

“We got into a huge fight right after.”

I looked at his face.

“Yeah.”

“What happened?”

He looked up at me.

“Do you remember the day you guys met up the next day?”

I thought back to that day.

“He said that came from a prop falling on his face.”

“You guys fought?”

“Yeah, as soon as he got back from finding you in the woods, we had some words and long story short.” he trailed on. “He said if I wasn’t going to take my shot, he was going to.”
