“If you don’t let me take the lead, if you jump ahead and speak out of turn, then when we get back up to the room, instead of Daddy’s good boy being rewarded with Daddy’s cock in his tight little ass, Daddy’s naughty boy will be going over his knee for a long hard meeting with Daddy’s naughty-boy paddle.”
Dax sucked in a breath, suddenly content to ignore her request and stay in bed where he couldn’t end up in real trouble. As much as he enjoyed Beau’s hand across his ass bringing him relief from guilt, he hated to be spanked for punishment and really hated that paddle. Usually just a threat like that was enough to keep him in line for everything except when it came to his mouth. Sometimes he just couldn’t control himself.
His bottom already hurt. He wasn’t sure what Jilly wanted, but it probably wasn’t worth the risk.
He was about to suggest they just climb back in bed when their phones chirped again.
Please? I’m here. Are you coming?
Dax swallowed hard, picturing her waiting in the empty casino by herself only to be told they weren’t coming. He couldn’t do that to her.
Be there in 5, he texted back, bending to scoop his jeans from the floor where he’d left them. When he looked up, Beau was still staring at him expectantly.
“Yes, Daddy,” he answered, praying he would be able to obey.
Beau
He held on to Dax’s hand all the way down to the casino, occasionally reaching over to pat his butt as if to remind him of their agreement.
They got off the elevator at the ground floor and walked to the back corner of the casino where there were a few small tables. Jilly was sitting at one of them, but she wasn’t alone.
Beau’s brows furrowed as he tried to place the Little with her.
“Dax,” he whispered underneath his breath, “do you know who that is?” Dax was better at names than he was.
Dax, who’d had his gaze trained on the carpet beneath him, glanced up. “Hmmm. That’s Tessa, I think. One of the twins. Yeah, Tessa is the one with the shorter hair.”
Beau’s stomach knotted at the fact that Jilly had felt it necessary to bring a friend along. Did she not feel safe with them anymore? And if that was the case, why was she meeting with them at night in an empty casino?
Keep an open mind, he mentally coached himself, but he was worried. Judging from her reaction earlier, she’d meant what she said. She wasn’t going to change her mind.
“Hey,” he said as he approached. “What’s up?”
Jilly was bouncing on the heels of her feet, with her hands clasped in front of her. She looked excited. He’d have taken it as a good sign except for the fact that standing beside her Tessa looked awkward and nervous as hell.
“I felt so bad earlier—” Jilly began.
“No need to feel bad. You have to do what’s right for you. Dax and I don’t want a Little who doesn’t want us.”
“But that’s just it. If I wanted a Daddy, or in this case, two Daddies, you guys would be perfect. I trust you and I adore you and I know you’d be fantastic at it and take good care of me. I just—”
“Don’t want a Daddy.” Beau kept his voice low and nonthreatening, still not understanding why she’d called them down here.
“Right. I don’t. But I wanted to introduce you to my friend Tessa. She’s smart and fun and sometimes a bit of a handful, but she’s caring and sweet when she wants to be. And she would really love two Daddies. Plus she thinks you are both super hot!” Jilly smiled widely, obviously very pleased with herself. “Well, I’ll let you guys talk. Okay, bye!” She bounced away and sat down at a nearby slot machine. Beau watched as she fed a bill in.
“I… um… I’m really sorry about this. And please don’t feel obligated or anything. I just… I basically agreed to come down here because she was so upset and felt so bad and when she came up with this idea, it was like a weight lifted. She felt better. So I figured I could just let her do it so she could like… feel like she’d done something. Like she’d tried to make it right.” Tessa was wringing her hands and glancing up at him every few seconds, mostly staring at the tabletop.
Dax squeezed Beau’s hand, indicating he wanted to say something and Beau squeezed his back indicating that he needed to wait.
“That’s very sweet, Tessa. Thank you for trying to help her. And for thinking that we are super hot,” Beau added with a chuckle.
She nodded. Her cheeks were flaming red and she could barely look at them.
“You are. And Jilly thinks so too. Anyway, again, I’m sorry this is so weird. I figured I’d just explain and then tell her it didn’t work out and we’d go back upstairs. It’s almost bedtime anyway.”
“Wait. Hold up.”
Tessa started to stand and Beau reached out to catch her hand. “We think the world of Jilly and we respect the hell out of her. If she thinks you are a better match for us, maybe we should find out why.”
