The Debt of Hate

I buried my face deep into the crook of his neck, breathing him in. For the first time in a very long time, the noise in my head stopped, and my entire world finally went quiet.

I LAY CURLED AGAINST George’s broad chest. I was naked, aching, and completely raw.

Every single welt on my ass and thighs throbbed with intense heat. The cane marks felt like pure fire under my skin, the thick silicone plug was still seated deep inside my core, and the steel cage kept my spent length trapped and heavy. But the physical pain was nothing compared to the absolute storm raging inside my head.

I had just said it all out loud. Every ugly, hidden detail. The way Edwin had held me down. The pain. The humiliation. How I had reported the violation only to be laughed at by the board. And how George Brooks had been one of the loudest, most vicious voices in the school calling me a liar.

The exact same George whose heavy hands were now stroking my bare back so gently it made me want to weep all over again.

I hated how safe I felt in his arms. Why does this feel good? I thought, a bitter shame twisting violently in my gut. This is the man who destroyed me.

I had transferred schools because of him. I had packed my bags in the dead of night and begged my mother to let me leave King's Shield behind because every hallway, every practice, and every game had become unadulterated torture. George and his teammates had made sure everyone on campus knew I was the freak who cried rape for attention. Because of them, I lost my friends. I lost my passion for sketching. I lost the last remaining pieces of myself that still believed I was worth something.

And now here I was collared by my own desperate need, marked by his leather belt and cane, leaking his fresh cum onto the sheets, and I had just handed him the deepest, most vulnerable wound I owned. I felt utterly exposed. It was as if he had peeled my soul open wider than any physical violation ever could.

“You’re shaking again,” George murmured, his deep voice vibrating warmly against my ear. His massive hand smoothed down my spine, carefully avoiding the worst of the overlapping stripes. “Talk to me, Sig. What’s in your head right now?”

I swallowed hard, my throat still feeling raw and tight from my screaming earlier.

“I... I don’t know,” I whispered, staring blindly at the dark wood of the bulkhead. “I spent years hating you. You were the exact reason I ran away. The reason I transferred. Every single time I tried to stand up for myself after Sullivan, your voice was in my head, telling everyone I was weak. Pathetic. A liar. And now I’m here... letting you hurt me. Telling you everything. It feels so fucked up.”

George’s arms tightened possessively around me, but he stayed quiet, simply listening.

Fresh tears slipped down my cheeks, dampening the hair on his chest. “I feel weak for needing this. For needing you. It feels like I’m betraying my own survival. But when you held me after I said Red... and you actually listened... part of me feels lighter. Like maybe the poison is finally leaking out of me. I’m just terrified that you’re going to use this against me later. That this is just another elaborate way to break me.”

I felt his lips press firmly against the top of my head, a lingering, heavy pressure.

“I’m terrified,” I admitted, my voice cracking on a sob. “And I'm relieved. And I am still so fucking angry at you. I don’t know how to hold all of it at once.”

George shifted our bodies carefully so he could look down at me. His dark eyes were dead serious, intense, but softer than I’d ever seen them in my entire life.

“You’re allowed to feel all of it,” he said quietly, his thumb tracing my jawline. “The hate. The need. The anger. I deserve every single bit of it, Sig. I was a coward back then. I’m not asking you to forgive me tonight. I’m just asking you to let me carry some of this weight while I prove to you that I’m not that guy anymore.”

I searched his face, desperately hunting for the lie. I didn’t find it.

My body hurt everywhere, a deep, satisfying brand of pain that grounded my frantic thoughts. The welts pulsed in sync with my heartbeat. My hole was incredibly tender. But the worst ache was centered directly in my chest, like something old, rusted, and defensive was finally cracking open.

“I ran away because of you,” I said, the words spilling out before my pride could stop them. “I couldn’t look at myself in the mirror for years. I thought if the great George Brooks thought I was worthless... then I must be. And now I’m on my knees for you every night because it’s the only place I feel real.”

A fresh wave of shame hit me, but underneath the heat was something else entirely. Something warmer. Far scarier.

Trust.

George wiped the tears from my lower lashes with his thumb, then leaned down and kissed my forehead with surprising tenderness.

“You’re not weak for any of this, for wanting, for desiring what makes you hard,” he said firmly, his voice leaving no room for doubt. “And Sullivan was a coward, not you. You were brave, even then, when you were alone, you stood up for yourself. You survived him. You survived me. And you’re still standing here, choosing this. That’s strength, baby. Even when it feels like surrender.”

I closed my eyes and pressed my face deep into the crook of his neck, breathing in his familiar scent, leather, sports rub, and an absolute sense of safety. I still hated him a little. But for the first time in years, I didn’t feel completely alone with my shame.

“I don’t know what happens now,” I whispered against his skin.

George’s hand slid down to rest possessively on my sore ass, his fingers lightly brushing the flared base of the black silicone plug. He gave it the gentlest, teasing press, making me feel the heavy reality of its presence inside me, before his hand stilled.

“Now,” he said, his voice low and entirely sure, “I take care of what’s mine. And you let me.” He paused, his chest rising against mine before he added softly, “Including deciding what you wear... or don’t wear.”

He shifted us slightly, his dark eyes searching mine with quiet intensity.

“The scene officially ended when you said Red, baby. That means the toys come off unless you explicitly want them to stay. Do you want me to take the plug and the cage off now? Or do you want to keep them a little longer while I hold you?”
