A groan and a sweet laugh, and he shifted beneath her. “Eryn,” he said, breathless, and she released him.

One more moment was too long. She shifted over him.

He sat up to meet her and pulled her legs over him.

Arms wrapped around each other, watching every expression that crossed his face, she lowered onto his rigid erection.

With the tip barely in, she slowed.

Heat swirled in her core.

Savoring every inch of him.

He held her close, his hands on her hips, his cheek touching hers.

The tips of her breasts brushed against his chest. Arms around him.

Rubbing, moving, she squeezed him tight and soared higher with each motion.

He gripped her hips and ramped up the pace.

Feeling his peak coming, seeing his jaw drop and his gaze haze over, she rode him harder and focused her arousal until she surged with orgasm again.

On the wave of her climax, he rocked her rapidly over him, breath fast and hungry, until he joined her.

“Holy shit,” she whispered, and pressed her temple against his.

He laughed and held her close, one hand splayed over her low back, the other still on her hip. The temperature in the room was tropical. “I wonder how many times we can go?”

“Ready when you are.” She rocked over him again.

He lifted her and covered her body with his. Still hard, he gave a testing thrust.

Eryn laughed deliriously and grabbed his ass and tugged him tight to her before he could pull out again. “I am hungry.”

“They’ll save us some food.”

“I’ve hardly said more than three words to your dad. I’d like to get to know your family, you know. This seems rude.”

“This is a demon hunter wedding.”

“Demons are so weird.”

“True,” he said, and distracted her from her rumbling tummy with another hard thrust. “One more round, then food. Then… we’ll just have to make sure you survive past Friday, and we’ll do all the normal newlywed things.”

“It’s a date.”

If this didn’t work, at least she’d die happy, right?

Ugh. Dammit, she might crave death, but she had a lot of living to do. More than ever.

Only hours after the wedding, Eryn had hugged her real sister goodbye, leaving her to board a plane with a woman who was a demon hunter and part of a werewolf pack by marriage and by motherhood. Astrid had been sad not to stay and fight, but she had left Eryn with the sweetest, most solemn promise to keep Lexi safe.

Lexi was in seventh heaven with the wolves already. Learning so much about them and moving on from her vampire obsession. Now focused on another paranormal, secretive sort of creature.

Blayk arrived early this morning. Alive and vibrant—maybe even more than the hunters—but with a darker appeal. The vampire stood back in the shadows, his hood over his head, assessing the terrain. Sniffing the air and smelling more than cedar trees.
