Uriel’s eyes grew wide. “I... Are you sure?”

“It’s my money. You said I can do anything I want with it,” Bruiser said dryly. “What’s your favorite color?”

“Blue, if it’s not clothes. I like red and black on my skin.”

Bruiser’s eyebrows crawled up. “Why not blue?”

“Makes my skin look weird.” Uriel wrinkled his nose.

“Huh.” It hadn’t even occurred to Bruiser, that omegas could be this picky about colors. He filtered the store’s lace panties by size and color, then showed the selections to Uriel again.

This time, Uriel looked at the panties consideringly. “Not the ones that look like butt floss.”

Bruiser coughed to hide his laugh.

Uriel raised his eyebrows. “Why don’t you try wearing butt floss, and tell me how you like it?”

“To be honest, I’d never even thought about the comfort levels of those panties,” Bruiser admitted.

Uriel rolled his eyes. “Alphas.”

“Tell you what, I’ll buy a butt floss thong for me,” Bruiser said. “If that’ll make you happy.”

“Really? You’d wear it?”

“Not for the whole day. Maybe an hour.”

“At work?”

“Fuck no,” Bruiser said. “I don’t want to find it uncomfortable, and be constantly fishing it out of my ass. I’d get written up.”

Uriel snickered. It lit up his face in a way Bruiser had never seen before, and it was... charming. More than Bruiser thought it would be.

He dragged his gaze away from Uriel and went searching for his own measurements. With a quick filtering of the products on the lingerie site, he showed Uriel the possible choices.

“This,” Uriel said, pointing at a hot pink lace thong with butterflies on the front. He snickered again. “I want to see you wearing this.”

“Fine.” Bruiser placed it in the cart. “Now, you pick one or two.”

He filtered the massive selection to show panty designs that Uriel might wear, and handed his phone over.

After much deliberation, Uriel picked two.

Bruiser paid for overnight shipping, to be delivered to the cabin.

Uriel’s eyebrows went up again. “Really? You’re spending that much on shipping?”

Bruiser shrugged. “I want to see you in them more than I care about the cost.”

Uriel shook his head disbelievingly.

The doorbell rang. Uriel startled, but Bruiser had heard the delivery person coming up.

“Breakfast,” Bruiser said.

“I’ve lowered the wards.”

Bruiser tipped the driver and brought the bags of food to the dining table. Uriel was already taking one of the bags from him, pawing through it.
