The Secret Omega’s Secret Baby

“Good.” Uriel stole a piece of pepperoni off Bruiser’s pizza, but the alpha only rumbled in approval.
“We’ll have to drop Fenn off at my apartment,” Uriel said. “I need to key him into my security wards.”
Bruiser sat upright, eyes bright. “And after that?”
“You should show me where you plan on... building that nest.”
“I have a few places in mind. You should check them out.”
Gods, was this really happening? It was, wasn’t it? Bruiser reached over, tangling their fingers together. It was such a tiny gesture, and yet it meant so much when Uriel didn’t pull his hand away.
They were still sitting together when the rescued omegas went back to smacking around their kidnappers.
“I can’t believe it’s only been three days since you—since my heat,” Uriel said.
“Mmm.” Bruiser leaned in, his lips brushing Uriel’s ear. “Want to make absolutely sure it took?”
Uriel’s insides grew warm. He smacked Bruiser’s thigh. “I can’t believe you.”
“I can.” Bruiser grinned. “I’ll believe enough for the both of us. In fact, I’ve got a big... bed, with a thick... mattress. It’ll be good for grinding... out some details.”
“Oh gods, that’s just terrible,” Uriel said into his hands.
But it was enough to make him forget that Xenowen still lurked, somewhere in the world.

I’LL SHOW YOU MINE IF YOU SHOW ME YOURS
“So,” Uriel said as they parked in front of Bruiser’s mansion. “Do I get to ride a dragon?”
Bruiser smirked. “You can ride my dragon anytime you want, sweetheart.”
Uriel threw a balled-up wrapper in his face. “You know what I meant.”
Bruiser wrapped his fingers around Uriel’s bicep and leaned in, his lips on Uriel’s ear. “I know what you want,” he murmured. “And that’s me, deep inside you, stretching you wide open.”
Warmth flared to life in Uriel’s gut. “You...”
Bruiser leaned back, all satisfied. “I heard your heart skip.”
“You didn’t.”
“Of course I didn’t,” Bruiser said, smirking like a cat who had gotten the cream. “Here, let me show you around my lair.”
He smoothed his hands down his muscular thighs, drawing Uriel’s attention to his bulge.
Then he was out of the car, on Uriel’s side, opening the door for him.
“You’re trying to seduce me,” Uriel grumbled, stepping out.
Bruiser didn’t give him any space. This brought them close, their bodies almost touching, heat sparking in the air between them.
“Is it working?” Bruiser said hopefully.
“Maybe.” Uriel scooped Cassie out of the car seat that Bruiser had acquired, before stepping back to look at Bruiser’s home.
He had seen it as they were heading up the neat driveway. At that point, it had looked like something out of a fairytale. Now, standing in front of the huge mansion, with golden light shining out of its windows, it looked like one of those cozy log cabins on a Yule greeting card, the ones you wished you could cozy up in when the weather grew chilly. Except this cabin was enormous.
