His breath came in short, quick pants, as if a full inhale would send him careening over the edge.
He spat into his palm, but quickly determined that it wasn’t enough and produced a bottle of lube from his nightstand. I made a note that he liked things wet, considering the amount he squeezed into his palm and how he shoved his shirt out of the way.
His next sigh was relieved—content. The flicker of a smile quirked his lips, and his eyes fluttered shut again.
The addition of the lube brought his orgasm to the surface easily. His hips bucked, pushing his slick cock through his fist. His thighs quivered. His chest rose and fell with each shallow breath.
My own lungs burned, desperate for oxygen—nearly as desperate as I was to come, but I wasn’t going to find relief until my Tate found his.
Besides, with the way I was sitting, it took a brief shift of my thighs to put the right amount of pressure on my cock—enough to cease the incessant throbbing.
The breathtaking image in front of me grew hungry, frantic. Tate’s hand jerked his pretty cock with a desperation that had me nearly bursting through the window to finish him off myself. His abs contracted, and his cock swelled in his fist.
“Luc…”
I sank my teeth into my lip to stifle a sound, but it was in vain. Keeping my eyes on Tate, I muffled my curse with my arm. Tate still moaned softly, so as not to alert his roommate to what he was doing, but it was my name that he chanted like a prayer until Tate came in hot white spurts over his chest and stomach. One pulse after another, so much more than I ever thought possible. I didn’t think he’d ever stop.
I came hard, warm liquid seeping into my underwear and dampening my jeans. I struggled to keep my balance, even more so to stay exactly where I was.
Coming down from his high, Tate glanced around at the mess he’d made, then his attention darted around his room like the walls were going to tell on him. I’d never seen such a beautiful shade of crimson, the color painting his cheeks, neck, and disappearing behind the collar of his T-shirt, which he swiftly stripped to clean himself up with.
The gorgeous color continued down his chest but as he sat up, I couldn’t get a look at much more. As it was, I had a mess of my own to clean up now, but I would do so with a smile on my face.
No, there was no mistaking what that precious boy thought about when he touched himself.
He was going to be under my spell before he even realized what he’d done.
Chapter 5
TATE
“Do I have to?” I groaned, gazing up at the towering frat house in front of me. The Greek letters alpha and omega donned the top, broken up by a row of claw marks in the middle: Alpha Claw Omega—the university’s resident fraternity.
The door opened and shut so constantly that noise spilled out in a steady stream, along with the people coming and going. Carter squeezed my shoulder gently. “No,” he said. “But you wouldn’t have come all the way here with me if you weren’t at least curious.”
I sighed. He was right. It was college. I had to experience these things at least once, right?
“Here.”
I glanced over, and Carter was offering me a pair of earplugs. I accepted them with a grateful smile and tucked them into my ears. He put his hands on my shoulders and spun me to face him. “Now, we have to have a big brother kind of conversation before we go in here.”
“Oh, God…” Heat rushed to my face. He wasn’t about to lecture me about sex or condoms or something was he?
“Do you drink?” he asked instead.
The question stunned me to the point where all I could do for a moment was blink. “Uh, what?”
“You’ll practically be swimming in booze once we walk through these doors. Do you drink?”
Oh. “I’m only nineteen.”
Carter rolled his eyes and smiled. “That’s not what I asked, Tate. I don’t care if you do, I care that you’re responsible. I don’t drink at all, so don’t hesitate to come to me if you think you’ve had too much or something doesn’t feel right. Make your own drinks, or closely watch the person who does, and if you turn your back on your cup for even a second, just toss it and get a new one. Okay?”
Something twisted in my chest. Damn, was this what it was like to have an older sibling who actually cared? I blinked away the heat building behind my eyes. “Okay.”
I followed Carter up the stone steps and into the frat house. Even with the earplugs, I couldn’t hear a damn thing. Carter had to lean in and shout at the top of his lungs to ask if I was sticking with him. I considered it briefly, but he didn’t need that. He had his own siblings to trail him about—he didn’t need another one. So I shook my head, and scanned the environment around me.
There was one sitting space to my left, and another to my right. A hallway stretching out in front of me led to the kitchen, and a carpeted staircase climbing to the second floor. Every inch of the place was crawling with monsters and humans. Carter was right: the stench of booze was sharp in the air, and everywhere I turned I saw a different cup, or clear plastic shot in someone’s hand.
