Not gonna lie, a year ago, the contents of this folder would have destroyed me. But today, looking at it just feels… cathartic.

Like a fucked-up spiritual cleanse.

Though, to be honest, I still don’t know what I’m supposed to do with all these pictures.

I don’t know if I should use them as leverage or erase them.

But I guess in a way, keeping them feels like having a weapon I can use against Aurelio if he ever dares to hurt my man.

I scroll down the screen, suppressing a gag.

Ugh!

Aurelio, really?

There’s even a picture of him with a man who could easily be his grandfather. In it, Aurelio has a moaning expression on his face, but I can tell his skin is crawling with disgust.

After knowing him for years, I can read his tells better than he can.

Besides, it’s the exact same look he had the day we went to India, when he ate a whole tray of dodgy oysters and spent two hours puking his guts out.

“Hahaha…” I chuckle under my breath.

He probably scrubbed himself down in the shower ten times after sleeping with that guy.

“What are you laughing at?” Leo asks, turning my way.

Oops.

Busted.

“…Nothing.”

Leo leaves the couch and comes over, narrowing his eyes at me. “Yeah, that is definitely not a nothing face. That is a ‘holy shit’ face if I’ve ever seen one.”

“You’re not going to let this go, are you?”

“Never.” He grins.

“Fine, but this doesn’t leave the room,” I warn. “Aurelio has a secret folder with blackmail sex photos of fifty different men.”

“What?!” Julian chokes out.

“Oh my God, that’s so gross,” Leo gasps, his eyes going wide. “How do you know—Wait… You have the folder?!”

“I do.”

“Let me see.” Leo stretches his arm out, and I pass him the phone. “Holy shit! This is worse than I thought.”

“I… I don’t think we should be looking at that,” Julian stutters, walking toward us, looking uncomfortable.

“Why not? Aurelio is an asshole, and it’s not like we took the pictures.” Leo swipes to the next slide and laughs. “Eeewww. This guy has three chins and is at least sixty.”

Finnian leans over and checks the screen. “Ooft! That’s the CEO of TerraNova Oil.”

“How do you even know that?” I ask, squinting at Finnian.

“Because I’m brilliant, that’s why… An’ ma bakery’s fourth best in all of New York, so we get heaps of famous an’ wealthy folk all the time.”
