He laughed. “Well, yeah. I like the sound of that. But I want to do something else first. Something I’ve been dying to do.” He stepped forward, causing me to fall backward on the couch.

For a second he just stared down at me. And then he slowly got down on his knees in front of me. My heart started racing.

“I don’t want you to think about Leo ever again.”

“I won’t,” I said.

Jacob didn’t respond. He just unzipped one of my boots and let it fall to the floor. And then he did the same with the other. He shifted forward and his fingers hooked on the sides of my leggings. He pulled them and my thong down my hips.

I lifted my butt so he could pull them all the way off. And I swear I stopped breathing when he leaned down and placed a kiss on my naked thigh. He kissed higher and higher as he pressed my thighs farther apart.

He lifted his head just a bit to look up at me. “And I think it’s about time we continued from where we were so rudely interrupted last weekend.”

Last weekend! Oh, crap! I’d forgotten to tell him about Axel spending the night recently! We’d just agreed to be honest with each other about everything... My thoughts disappeared when Jacob’s mouth pressed between my thighs.

I clenched around his fingers as he pushed his boxers and jeans to the floor. And then he put one knee down on the couch so he was more at my level. Well...so his erection was.
