I closed my eyes, savoring the feel of her lips.
She brushed them against mine again, this time parting them with the tip of her tongue, shattering my control.
My hands grabbed her from behind, lifting her up as I crushed my lips against hers before I could think about what I was doing.
Her arms and legs wrapped around me while I moved my tongue against her own, her hands sinking into my hair as I sank to my knees in the sand, grinding her against me. The taste of her blinding.
She was fucking divine.
She bit my lip and I felt crazed, pulling the pins from her hair and tossing them into the sand.
I slid my hand into her hair, wrapping it around my fist as I stood and walked us back to the cottage, kicking in the old door before walking to the only bedroom.
There, I laid her gently on her back on the white sheets of my bed that were crumpled from the night before; portaling here my only chance at sleep some nights, especially since her arrival.
My body rested on top of hers, and I couldn’t think straight as she lifted her hips to grind harder against me. Her soft sighs music to my ears.
Unlacing her arms from around my neck, I pinned them above her head against the mattress, feeling as her heartbeat kicked up.
I grinned with satisfaction before leaning in to lick my way up her neck, my teeth stopping to graze against her ear. “You’re making me come undone,” I confessed, my body straining with need.
She moaned her own confession, and I kissed her harder than before, shifting her wrists to one hand while the other dropped down between her legs, hovering, searching her face for any sign she wanted to stop.
“Touch me, Leo,” she panted, making me harder than I’d ever been before.
I obeyed her command. Taking my time, drawing circles with my fingers on the outside of the leather-accented pants that hugged her backside just right and drove me wild.
She moaned into my mouth as I worked my tongue in time with my strokes.
“More,” she begged, and I obliged, pausing my teasing to unbutton her pants, kissing across her stomach as I worked to pull them down.
But before I could get them low enough, I was hit with a searing pain in my skull. Like I was being branded with a scalding iron in my mind.
I stopped abruptly, yanking her pants back up.
“Leo, what’s wrong?” I heard her say as I groaned through another lashing of pain behind my eyes.
“Leo!”
I felt her hands on my face but could only see darkness and a bright slashing light.
“We need to go,” I ground out. “Something’s wrong.”
I wrapped my arms around her and portaled us clumsily back to the rooftop on One, Bryn landing on top of me while I landed on the mattress of the bed I’d set up for her.
My equilibrium was off.
“Someone’s coming,” I said, checking Bryn to make sure she was okay. Her pants were still pushed low, the black lace of her panties revealed. I fixed them quickly, my movements rough. “If anyone sees your lace other than me, I’ll carve out their eyes.”
She blushed, attempting to smooth her hair that was fully down now, draped across her shoulders.
Her lips were swollen and beautiful.
I realized it was Adrian as his footsteps hit the last few steps up to the roof.
I turned on him, my darkness flaring. “This better be important.”
His eyes took in my appearance, roaming over my wrinkled shirt and my hair that was most likely disheveled. Then they darted to Bryn.
