“Oh my god, no!” Alder protested, comically horrified by the suggestion. “I’m married! And they’re—”

Zann’s heart fluttered when Lydia splayed a possessive hand over her stomach and declared, “Very happy with our current arrangement.”

“Besides, three-ways are just so much work,” Bonnie muttered, shaking her head.

“I mean—” Kit started to reply, but then stopped to gape at her. “Wait— What?”

Zann shot Lydia a look that begged, did she really just say that?, and choked back a laugh when Lydia just stared back at her with a wide-eyed look of absolute disbelief.

It was then that Jack and Michael managed to find their way back to the group after staying behind to explore more of the old Coast Guard compound that made up the visitor’s center on the island.

Zann wasn’t terribly surprised that they clocked something was off at a glance, but she had to bite her lip to keep from laughing guiltily when Jack wagged an accusing finger at them all and asked, “What’d we miss?”

“Nothing,” Bonnie squeaked.

“Uh-huh, sure,” Michael drawled.

“She—” Kit pointed at Bonnie, who was now blushing furiously. “She—”

“Kit,” Bonnie groaned, her blush deepening to the point that even her ears were bright red as she covered her face with her hands. “Please don’t.”

Michael laughed. “Don’t what?”

“Yeah,” Jack chimed in. “You can’t leave us in the dark!”

“I mean…” Zann glanced from Bonnie’s fire-engine-red face to Kit’s hilariously gobsmacked expression. “We totally can.”

“No,” Jack whined. “That’s mean! Why wouldn’t you let us in on whatever it is when you’re all standing there, looking like you walked in on your parents fucking or something?”

“I mean, that’s not too far off base,” Zann sniggered, but stopped when Lydia’s fingers dug into her stomach warningly. “Sorry.”

“Damn, you already have her trained!” Alder told Lydia with an approving nod. “Well done.”

Zann scowled at Alder and flipped her off.

Alder chuckled and blew her a kiss. “Love ya, sis!”

“Guys!” Jack stomped his foot. “Come on!”

“God, you’re such a fucking drama queen,” Kit grumbled.

“Fuck you!” Jack pouted, crossing his arms over his chest.

“And, yeah.” Kit inclined her head and waved a hand at him. “Thank you for proving my point.”

Jack stuck his tongue out at her. “Come on, Kit!”

Michael nodded emphatically. “Yeah!”

“Oh my god, fine!” Bonnie let her hands fall away as she lifted her face to the sky. “I said that three-ways are a lot of work. There! Happy?”

“You said…” Jack’s voice trailed off. He inclined his head in a proud, I can’t believe you said that kind of way. “Damn, Bon. Really?”

“I mean, she’s not wrong,” Michael chimed in, smacking Jack lightly in the stomach. “Like, my hamstrings are still a little sore from our romp with Trevor.”

Jack rolled his eyes. “That’s because you didn’t stretch before we bent him—”

“Eww, no.” Shannon cut him off, waving her hands in front of her in the universal just stop right there motion. “Please. No more.” She shuddered as she turned to Bonnie. “You, however!” She jabbed a finger at her. “Why am I only just hearing about this? Like, oh my god, Bonnie! Who? When? I have so many questions!”
