Exclusive: Finn Miller’s Fiancée’s Ex-husband Accuses Poppy Quinn of Battery and Financial Exploitation

Oh my God. I cover my mouth as vomit begins to force its way up my throat. I exhale a breath, unable to take another, shaking.

Jordan Callahan, the former husband of NFL star Finn Miller’s fiancée, Poppy Quinn, is breaking his silence today about their tumultuous marriage, alleging that Quinn was physically abusive, financially manipulative, and willing to do whatever it took to get where she wanted. Callahan claims that Quinn will “do anything to get what she wants” and that includes “physical violence.”

“And once she gets what she wants, there’s a new side that comes alive inside her,” Callahan says. “There’s a monster buried in that woman. My son had nightmares stemming from her behavior and the situations he witnessed for over a year after the divorce.”

Callahan claims their marriage ended following a violent confrontation involving Quinn and her father that resulted in a police intervention. When asked about Quinn’s recent engagement to Finn Miller, and the substantial financial opportunities surrounding the relationship, Callahan offered a warning.

“I just hope Miller figures out who she really is before it’s too late.”

“Oh my God,” I say, staring at my phone. “Oh my God.”

“Are you okay?” Layla asks.

Tears well in my eyes. This motherfucker.

His lies … they’re going to destroy everything.

And Jordan’s lies aren’t just fired at me. They’re aimed at Finn, too.

In front of the whole world.

Oh my God.

“Poppy?” Layla asks. “Talk to me.”

“Layla, I’m sorry.” My voice breaks, and my bottom lip quivers.

“What are you sorry to me for? Who is this Jordan guy?”

I cover my face with my hands as the tears fall. Why? Why the fuck is he spewing such garbage?

It’s been years since our divorce.

Why am I still on his mind? Why come after me now?

“Poppy, I’m getting really nervous here,” Layla says. “I need to know that you’re okay.”

“No. I’m not okay,” I say, hiccuping a breath. “I cannot believe this is happening.”

“Please talk to me.”

What will Finn think when he reads this?

I stare straight ahead into the cinder block wall of the parking garage and wish that I could go back to last night, or even to this morning, and tell Finn about Jordan. Because now he’s going to think I’m telling him because it came out in Exposé, and not that I’d planned to tell him so we could take another step forward in our relationship.

Layla says something to Branch, and my heart pulls again. I wish I would’ve told her, too. She’s been my very best friend, and now she has to wonder who I really am.

Like Branch said, life can change in the blink of an eye. This is what happens when you let yourself live ashamed.

“Jordan was my husband,” I say, the words hollow. “We were married for about a year when I was eighteen. My parents begged me not to do it. He was older than me, had a couple of kids—one of whom lived with him. They kept telling me that it was a mistake and that I was being foolish, but you couldn’t tell me a damn thing. I thought I was in love.” I choke back a sob. “It ended really badly, Layla. Everything he said is bullshit. You have to believe me.”

“Poppy, of course, I believe you. But why haven’t you told me this?”

“Because I wanted to forget. I wanted a life where Jordan didn’t exist. And it was a great plan until today.”

My tears fall harder again, and I wipe my nose with the back of my hand.
