Yelling, “That shouldn’t be allowed!” I ran.
I could hear skittering and kept going. I banged into Blue, shrieked, and took off.
Blue started laughing behind me as I careened through the passage in front of us. I had no idea where my sisters were. Worse, a few minutes into the maze, things began popping out at us.
I screamed at a scarecrow that grinned evilly and headed in a different direction, only to bang into a farmer pulling a woman’s body.
“Where’s the damn cops!” I shouted.
“Fortune?” Wylde yelled.
“Murder!” I screamed. The farmer dropped the corpse, gazed at me, and pulled a scythe. I didn’t wait and took off.
Fuck that.
Belladonna
I was crying with laughter. This was hysterical, and my sisters were actually enjoying themselves. A couple of times, I’d had to clamp down on them using their powers, but it was hysterical.
The best part was coming up, though they didn’t know it. It was also intriguing to see who was gravitating toward whom. Tinkerbell hadn’t left Teddy’s side, and he hadn’t encouraged her to. Stitch had a death grip on Hatton; Cassidy was protecting Dagger while Sparrow kept hiding behind Warrick. All very interesting indeed.
I didn’t think anyone else noticed besides Sapphire, since they were all too scared, running around like lunatics. And right now, Sapphire was pinned by two freaky as fuck scarecrows and was promising Wylde loads of blow jobs if he’d just shoot them.
Wylde was laughing too hard to reply as Sapphire looked completely freaked out.
“Dude, you need to lock that down,” one of the scarecrows finally declared, breaking cover.
“Yeah, I will. Can I get her out of here? There are blowjobs at risk,” Wylde announced as Sapphire clutched the rear of his cut.
“Sure, never let it be said that we stood in the way of copious blowjobs,” the scarecrow declared before stepping away.
Wylde walked Sapphire through it, and I laughed harder as one lunged at her. She screamed and guaranteed Wylde all sorts of dirty action. He gave the scarecrows a thumbs up and dragged her away. Fuckin’. Funny. As. Hell.
“Belladonna, you bitch!” Vengeance snapped, appearing.
“Not enjoying yourself, sister?”
“You wait, I’ll get revenge,” she promised.
“I’ll have your children! Teddy, get me out of here,” Tinkerbell yelled from somewhere close by.
“She hates kids,” Vengeance said, grinning.
“I know. I’d love to know what was freaking her out.”
“Well, if it’s what I just ran from…” Vengeance shuddered.
“What?”
“A fucked-up Chucky doll!”
A shiver trickled down my spine. “They’ve got a Chucky?” Okay, even I hated Chucky.
“Yeah, and it’s behind you!” Vengeance started running, and so did I after a glance over my shoulder. Fuck Chucky! I didn’t do Chucky!
We finally escaped the maze, although some took longer than others, and we stared at the empty field ahead of us.
“I don’t get it.” Storm frowned.
