I wasn’t overly attracted to this woman’s brazen personality, but she could also be the antidote to the pounding hellbent on slamming into my skull.

I leaned forward, resting my arms on the bar. “Any time I like.”

She grinned, running her tongue over her teeth.

I nodded to the door behind the bar that led into the back alley. “If you need fresh air, let yourself out. I won’t be far behind.”

Her eyes lit up. “Sure, it is getting hot in here.” She hastily swayed around the edge of the bar and disappeared out of the back door.

I discreetly adjusted myself in my pants.

Morgan, who still did the odd night shift for me, gave me a sidelong glance. She followed blondie’s exit out the door only reserved for staff. Raising a brow, she smirked, shaking her head as she ran a rag over the bar.

I clamped a hand on her shoulder. “Won’t be long.”

She let out a burst of laughter. “I don’t doubt that.”

I grinned at her innuendo, making my way through the kitchen. Pushing open the door, the bite of winter circled my breath in front of me. Outside, the laneway was empty, save for blondie, leaning against the block fence off to one side. She twirled a strand of hair around her finger, eyeing me hungrily as I made my way toward her.

“Took you long enough,” she said, batting her eyelashes again. She was only a fraction shorter than me thanks to her ankle-breaking heels.

Winding her hands around my neck, she pulled me closer.

Fuck. No.

“I don’t kiss,” I said firmly. It was a rule I’d had for many years. Because to kiss was to feel. And that, I could not afford.

She ran her finger over my bottom lip, testing me. “Okay, Mr. I Don’t Kiss.” She ran her hand over my crotch, and my dick preened at the contact. “How do you suppose we mend this, then?”

I could think of many ways to rid the problem of my semi. But I limited myself to only one. “Turn around,” I ordered, and she obliged, placing her hands on the wall in front of her.

The rip of my zipper cut through the silence, and I pulled my dick free, giving it a few pumps. It hardened instantly; I hadn’t touched it this way for a solid week. Flicking my wallet from my pocket, I pulled out a condom, then tore it open and slid it over me. I bunched her dress up to her waist, exposing the black thong she wore. Sliding it to the side, I wasted no time sinking into her pussy.

“Fuuuck.”

I forced my eyes to remain open, fixated on the wall, ignoring the moans coming from this woman that were so obviously fake. Because I’d made no effort to warm her up. I knew I was an asshole for it, but it meant she wouldn’t catch feels and come back for more; it was a shit move on my part, but it was better than the alternative I was ultimately saving her from.

It didn’t take long before my balls tightened, the onset of my climax imminent. Still, I did not close my eyes, focused only on the wall in front of me.

Leaning a hand against it, my nails scraped the concrete. I didn’t let my mind drift from my task at hand. Not for a second. It was how I rolled. No passion. No feeling. Just a quick release. Tap and go. I ignored the sound of a door opening. I was so fucking close. “Gonna come,” I grunted, finally sliding my eyes closed when a voice I instantly recognized ripped them back open.

“Reid?”

Fuck.

My mouth parted…

My best friend stared…

Every coherent thought disappeared.

Grabbing my dick, I pulled it from blondie’s pussy, but there was no way I could stop this. “Red.” I moaned her name, locking eyes with her as I pumped it in my hand, climaxing under my friend’s unwavering observation. Her gaze dropped to my fist wrapped around my dick. I expected her to turn away, but she just stood there, her wide eyes never leaving mine, lips parted.

Holy fuck.

When I was done, Blondie covered herself up, craning to make sense of the situation. Noting our unexpected audience, a scowl twisted her face. “Do you mind?”

Red finally averted her gaze, angling her body sideways. “I did not just see that,” she said, like her words would erase the moment.
