The three of us exit, shutting the front door behind us, and once we’re on the road again, we make our way back to the compound.
“Is it just me, or was that strange?” Lian starts.
“Fucking weird, but whatever does it for them,” Corvin answers.
“Personally,” I say, “I think it’s beautiful.”
Lian’s still at my side. “Didn’t realize you were such a romantic.”
“Lots of things you don’t know about me. Like how there’s no way in hell I’m sleeping in my bed tonight where someone was stabbed to death.”
“My room it is,” Lian blurts out.
“Like fuck,” Corvin interjects, flanking me on my other side. “She’s staying in my bed.”
Somehow, after having sex for the first time in a monster sex club, being tracked by an assassin, and Lian killing a reanimated corpse in my bed, having both of them argue about where I’ll sleep tonight has somehow started to feel normal.
Which is a huge red flag because absolutely nothing about these monsters is safe or normal.
Chapter
Nineteen
DAWN
Iwake up with a grin.
There’s a delicious ache that throbs between my thighs from my time with Corvin. I still can’t believe I lost my virginity to him, and I never expected it to be with a monster. The image of him leaning over me, pushing my legs wide, fucking me like an animal, leaves me shivering for more. Who could have guessed that monster dick would be so enjoyable?
I push up onto my elbows as the morning sunlight drenches the bedroom, only to notice I’m not alone in bed. I’m not surprised. When I crashed last night in Corvin’s bed, he took the couch and Lian slept on the floor in the other room. Somehow during the night, the pair crawled in alongside me.
Corvin, on my right, shares my pillow, breathing deeply. The sheet is down to his waist, the shape of his huge cock perfectly outlined under the fabric. Even when it’s deflated, he’s insanely large, and of course, he’s naked. I’m still wearing my sleep shorts and tank top. In all honesty, it’s tempting not to reach over and touch those muscles, so I swing my attention to Lian on my left.
He’s sleeping upside down on the bed, his head by my feet, his arm wrapped around one of my legs, and his mouth inches from my toes. He’s in slacks at least.
I start to ease my leg free, but when it doesn’t budge, I just give it a quick tug. My knee accidentally shoves him in the gut a bit too hard, and he rolls right out of bed.
Shit!
He hits the floor with a thump, and I look over to where he lands on his back and starts snoring. Unbelievable.
That’s when I notice the cut across his chest is blushing a deep red and doesn’t appear to be healing. He’s so damn stubborn. That thing is going to get infected.
Up on my feet, I make a beeline for the bathroom. When I’m done, I splash cold water over my face and glance in the mirror.
“Who are you?” I murmur to myself. Wild hair, rosy cheeks, and a sinful smile I can’t keep off my lips. I don’t care about those monsters out there. I really don’t.
Yet, I still feel Corvin between my thighs, and a buzz travels down my spine so fast I shudder with excitement.
Just calm the heck down.
I splash my face with cold water again, dry it off with a towel, and stroll out.
Both men are now standing around in the main room. Corvin, thank God, has put shorts on and is yawning, while Lian stretches his back, arms in the air.
I’m gawking at their muscles.
They both twist toward me.
