Play With Me

“No, I want you to,” I said, “I was just warning you that I don’t normally come from it.”

“Yeah, that’s fine, this isn’t actually about you,” he said, chuckling darkly into my pussy. My laugh turned into a moan when his tongue started to play. Jesus Christ.

I appreciated that he didn’t try to make me come with his mouth alone, like it was a challenge. Instead, he slipped his fingers inside me at the same time, and I fisted the blankets when he pulled my thighs up over his shoulders.

“You’re so pretty here… La Rosa de Bayahibe,” he said, grinning up at me, and I laughed aloud. “Seriously, like the prettiest rose.”

“Does it bother you that I’m purple?” I asked. It didn’t bother me, but I’d had partners be weird about it before. Especially white guys.

Will hummed against me. “I’ve always thought you looked good in purple.” He licked me again and sucked on my clit. His tongue felt so good.

“Thanks, Dad,” I said, giggling when his brows furrowed, and he bit me gently.

He climbed up and over me. “I’ve had enough of you,” he said, kissing my neck and sliding himself against the wetness he left between my legs, “but I can’t get enough of you.”

He reached for a condom, but I stopped him. “I have an IUD.”

He hummed, eyes searching my face. “I cleared my pre-deployment medical,” he said as he slid into me bare.

We breathed into each other’s mouths, and I kissed him. Loving the taste of me on his lips. He’d gotten me so warmed up that it started building low right away, but I wanted to be in control. I tightened my thighs around his hips and pushed his shoulder, and he didn’t hesitate to flip onto his back with me on top.

Morning light filtered through the tent fabric, washing everything in green—like the bar the night we met.

“You are the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen,” he said, his eyes all over me, something vulnerable in his expression. “I love this, did I tell you last night?” He traced his fingers along the snake on my breast, ready to strike, then sat up to kiss me there. I rolled into him slowly, conscious of how hard he was for me, how full he made me feel in more ways than one. My friend, my playmate, my lover: a man worth chasing.

“I’m ready to try it, Will.” I cradled his head. Brushed my fingers down the short hair on his neck. “I’m sorry it took me so long. I wasn’t expecting this.”

“My longest con,” he said, and I smothered his face against my chest. “You think this is punishment, but it’s not,” he added, his voice muffled.

“No more ‘just friends,’ okay? I want to be your girlfriend,” I said, relieved that I felt no hesitation. The label never felt like it fit, but it was just a word. It meant something to Will, and he meant something to me.

“Are you saying there are no fucking bears like me?” he mumbled around my nipple.

I laughed softly, “I’m saying I wouldn’t be here if I didn’t want to try this for real.”

He looked up at me then and swallowed hard. “I know. We don’t have to label it if you don’t want to.”

I smiled. “I want to.”

“What color should we paint the door?” Louisa asked, her face telegraphing pure delight. I’d avoided coming to their house when I thought they’d be making a life there together in the way I wanted to make a life with Louisa, so this was my first time seeing it. “Has is obsessed with this poop green; it’s horrible.”

“There is no such thing as green poop unless you have a problem, Lou,” Has suggested from the other room.

“Christian Jr.’s poop was green, and the pediatrician said he has a milk allergy,” I offered. Has poked his head around the corner to point at me meaningfully.

“Cute, both of you. I drink a lot of smoothies, babes. I buy kale by the pound. Sue me.”

Has scoffed loudly. “It’s the sample labeled BM Artichoke, Will. You be the judge.”

Louisa raised her hands in the air, mouthing See? B-M. I’m not sure how she played it straight. I wanted to kiss her stupid face. I’m allowed to now.
