I wasn’t sure what Silas had been going to say, but I was curious. It also reminded me that I was so distracted by giving my vampires kisses, I completely forgot that both men had come in their pants. That wouldn’t do. “Come on, let’s get you two cleaned up, and then we can sit down and chat.”
Silas bounced in my lap and cheered, “Yay! I don’t like being sticky. Thank you, D-Warren.” There it was again. Even though both words he cut off started with a D, I had a feeling they weren’t the same word. It would be slightly concerning if he were thinking about referring to me as a word he also used to describe a clothing item that covered his ass. Silas’s cheeks heated with embarrassment, and it made me even more curious to know what he’d been going to say.
“Silas. . . If it truly makes you uncomfortable, you don’t have to tell me, but you keep cutting yourself off and choosing another word. Have I made you uncomfortable?” My heart ached in my chest. Even the idea of accidentally upsetting my mate felt physically painful.
“What- Warren, no. I just don’t want to scare you.” His voice was still high-pitched and soft like it had been earlier, but it was now laced with anxiety, and that made the pain in my chest increase.
“Oh, honey, you could never scare me. I know you’re a vampire; surely that’s the scariest thing about you. Even that part of you is more sexy than scary.”
Silas looked slowly over at Griffin and then whined. “Griffiiieee hewp.” The sound was so broken that this time, I couldn’t fight the urge to wrap my arms around his waist and pull him further into me.
“Shh, honey, it’s going to be okay. I’m here now, and I’m going to take care of you.” I looked over at Griffin, his worried gaze meeting mine. “Both of you.”
Griffin’s eyes softened, and his body relaxed. “Si, I know you’re scared, but this is our mate. He is literally the other part of our soul, but I know your emotions are going haywire, so just relax against Warren, and I’ll explain everything. . . well, almost everything.” My heart nearly melted when Griffin placed a kiss on the top of Silas’s head.
“There is so much we need to discuss, but my cum has fused my boxers to my skin, so for now I’m only going to address why Silas kept cutting off his words.” Griffin placed a hand on Silas’s back and began rubbing soothingly up and down his spine. “Do you know anything about age play?”
I thought through all the decades of research and studying I had done, and my brain still came up blank. “No, I’m sorry, I don’t.”
Griffin slumped forward and let out a soft sigh of defeat. “That’s okay. Age play is one of the many parts of BDSM. When we have more time, I promise I’ll make sure you have all the information you need. The short version is Silas is a little, and I am a middle. It’s different for everyone, but basically, we enjoy spending time in a younger headspace. Silas is wearing a diaper and was scared that if you found out, you’d think he was weird. Some littles only regress by themselves or with other littles, while some regress with the help of their caregiver. A caregiver is usually someone they trust to guide and care for them. Most littles call their caregivers Daddy or Mommy. The second time he cut himself off, he almost called you Daddy, but stopped since that’s not something he should call you without consent.”
Age play?
Diapers?
Daddy?
Silas was something called a little, and Griffin was a middle. They both wanted to be cared for, but in different ways. I wasn’t entirely sure why Silas liked wearing diapers, but if it helped him, I was all for it. If he was going to call me Daddy, did that mean he wanted me to be the one to take care of them? The thought made my heart swell with affection. The idea of not only being with them but also taking care of them in a special way. It sounded too good to be true.
My mind was swirling with all the new information Griffin had given me, but he wasn’t done. “When Silas is overwhelmed and is around people he feels safe with, he regresses. Usually, he can control the headspace, but with everything going on, he slipped before we had the time to ease you into all of this. I’m sorry.”
Griffin’s head fell forward, avoiding my gaze. Grabbing his chin, I forced his gaze to mine. “Sweetheart. Don’t you dare apologize for being yourselves. I understand wanting to take things slow, but if you need something, I want to provide it. I agree with you, though. Ideally, I would have preferred a more in-depth conversation, but for now, two cute little boys need to be cleaned up. We’ll take everything one step at a time. For now, if calling me Daddy is something you need, then I am more than okay with it. Just promise me I’ll get all the details sooner rather than later.”
While I didn’t fully understand what Griffin was talking about, it didn’t matter to me. I spent nearly forty years searching for my vampires, and when I finally found them, it turned out they were both my perfect match. They were both mine as much as I was theirs. I couldn’t think of a single damn thing that could ruin something already so fucking perfect. I may not know what Griffin was talking about, but I didn’t need to. Right then, all that mattered was taking care of them; all the details could come later.
Silas nuzzled further into me, and the pain from the knot that had formed in my chest finally loosened. Griffin smiled and looked so damn happy it made my chest puff up with pride. “Thank you, Warren. I’m sorry this has all been so chaotic. I promise that as soon as we can, we will help you learn everything you need to know.”
“Thank you, sweetheart.”
Griffin backed away, allowing me to stand, and I already missed his touch. Once I had Silas securely placed on my hip, I held out my other hand for Griffin. “Lead the way, sweetheart.”
“Okay!”
Griffin practically bounced beside me as he led us down a hall and into their bedroom. The space was chaotic yet somehow still cozy. Just like the living room, almost every available surface was covered with something colorful or soft. Their bed was covered in heaps of fluffy blankets and sloth plushies. It looked incredibly inviting, and I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want to crawl up into the heap of covers and cuddle with my little vampires.
My hand felt surprisingly cold when Griffin let go and bent down to pull something out from under the bed. It was a medium-sized basket filled with diapers, wipes, and creams. There was even a bright red foam mat that Griffin had begun rolling out onto the bed. Silas clung to me as Griffin got everything laid out on the bed. When he was done, he gestured for me to lay Silas down for him. I stepped forward to do just that, but then alarm bells went off in my brain, and everything skidded to a halt.
“No, thank you, sweetheart. I got it from here. Please go pick out a change of clothes, and if you don’t want me using baby wipes to clean you up, then grab a washcloth.”
Silas went still against me, and Griffin’s eyes were so wide I almost worried they were going to pop out of his head. Had I said the wrong thing? How exactly did I handle this situation? This is why I needed all the details. Soon. Before the panic could fully set in, Griffin finally spoke. “O-okay. Thank you, Warren.”
“You’re welcome, sweet boy. Go pick out your comfiest outfit. I want you to be comfortable while we cuddle and talk.” Griffin’s smile was breathtaking. If he was smiling that big, that must have meant I’d gotten it right. Griffin was back to his bouncy self as he left to do as I had asked. It seemed Griffin had been the caretaker for far too long. I had no doubt he loved taking care of Silas, but Griffin deserved to be spoiled just as much, and I was going to make sure that happened.
Silas gripped my shirt and protested as I tried to lower him down onto the mattress. “Little one, I promise you’ll get all the cuddles you want after we get you cleaned up. Be a good boy for me and sit down so we can talk for a moment.”
Silas went still, then slowly released my shirt from his clenched fists. “Okay, Daddy. I sit.” The way he spoke made my blood hot with protectiveness, but it also made me want to squeeze him because he was so stinking cute. Silas climbed down and sat on the edge of the bed. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I told them they could call me Daddy, but it didn’t matter anymore. At the time, it just seemed like another name to call someone. Not a big deal. Once again, I was so completely wrong. My brain might not fully understand what being called that meant yet, but I didn’t care; it just felt right. Nothing in my life had ever felt as right as being their mate, their Daddy.
His gaze met mine, the pure love and admiration swirling within their depths nearly knocked me on my ass. Given how relaxed and happy he was, I didn’t have any doubt he didn’t want my help, but I would never assume. “Sweetie, are you okay with me helping you change?” Silas just cocked his head and looked a bit as if he thought my question was stupid. His nose wrinkled in the cutest way.
