Actually, right now the plan is not to fuck him ever again.
Prick.
“Well?”
Fuck.
Much as I like her, Galina is a bloodhound for drama and gossip, and there’s no way she’s letting this go without at least getting a scrap of the story.
“Okay, this stays between us, yes?”
She grins widely, then quickly nods solemnly. “Of course. And look, if you don’t want to talk about it, we can totally leave it—”
I snort, and she grimaces.
“Am I that bad?”
“Yeah. But you’re also pretty cool,” I grin. “Even if you’re screwing my dumb cousin.”
Her cheeks flush as she sighs dreamily. “What can I say? Lochlan and I—”
“Are nauseating. Yes. Everyone can agree on that.” I fix her with a look. “Do you want to hear the dirt or not?”
She giggles. “Please proceed. And truly, I promise this stays between you and me.” She bites her lip and grins at me. “Sooo…Damiano?”
I feel my face heat.
“It’s just a casual thing,” I shrug. “We’re not together or anything, it’s just…” I trail off.
“Fun?” she ventures.
I bite back my grin and nod. “Yeah.”
“Ha! That much, I guessed,” she snickers as she nods her chin at my throat.
My cheeks continue to throb. When I don’t say anything else, her brow arches.
“Wait, is that it?”
I spread my hands. “Yeah? I told you, it’s not a big deal.”
“So, just hot sex and hickeys?”
“Pretty much.”
She laughs. “No wedding bells in the future?”
“Nah,” I force a smile.
They already rang.
I feed Galina a few more very vanilla, completely fictional details. Then we finally head into class.
“Hey little villain,” my cousin murmurs, sidling up to Galina when we walk into the classroom.
She blushes deeply as she sinks into Lochlan’s embrace, standing up on her tiptoes to kiss him.
I make audible gagging sounds until he shuts me up with a look.
