“That’s right. I only used him. In all these years without him, I slept with a lot of men.”
His hand stopped for a moment, then he pressed his thumb on my clit. I let out a strange, pleasure-filled sound I would normally never make.
“You did what?”
“I slept with other…”
His large hands settled on my knees and parted them, his eyes never leaving mine.
“How many men, miss? Give me a number.” He yanked up my ruffled skirt and pulled my chair-pinned hips toward his face with one arm. “The more, the better. Don’t tell me you only slept with one bastard.”
He leaned and pressed his lips against my thigh. Then his rough fingers moved down, seizing my cheeks. With the stiff texture of a leather glove claiming my skin, my throat went dry, I licked my lips.
“You’re not my boyfriend.” I could manage to whisper. “It’s none of your business.”
“It’s my fucking business!”
He dropped between my thighs. His breath scorched my skin, then his tongue found my clit. My head snapped back.
“Raymond…” A helpless moan escaped me before I could choke it back.
He stayed brought to his knees before me, both arms locked like iron bands around the armrests of my chair, devouring me. There was no caution in him, none of Remi’s soft, careful reverence. He wasn’t treating me like some fragile glass that might shatter under his hands. He was raw, relentless, and real, making me the sole center of his desire.
“It’s my business…” He lifted his tongue upward toward my navel, and our eyes met. “Because whatever is inside me, it wants you. As long as I breathe and think, I’ll keep wanting you. You’re always there, I just can’t get you out. Why don’t you free me?”
He angled my body until I was perfectly positioned for his mouth. Being completely trapped—unable to move, unable to grind against a damn thing while his tongue wandered my back up to my clit—was driving me insane.
“Who are you, and how do you have so much power over me? I’ve come to know nothing but you… You… “
He rose slowly, his tall frame uncoiling until he towered over me once more. As he stroked my lower lip with his thumb, he seemed to be in a trance.
“You filthy witch. You ruined me.”
When he leaned in and pressed his mouth to mine again, I managed to force a steady rhythm back into my breathing. But there was nothing steady about him. He kissed me with the same hunger as the day we first began dating. Feral and untamed…
“Didn’t you want this?” I grinned when he drew back. “You wanted me to ruin you. Until nothing remains.”
“Oh, but this won’t be one-sided anymore. I’ll ruin you, too.”
“So that’s your plan?” My one brow arched. “You kidnapped me, and now you’re going to drive me mad in here forever? But… your methods are rather lacking, Commander.”
When I rose and pinned him against the chair, Raymond didn’t even flinch. With quick, practiced movements, I wound the loose ropes around him. I’d already realized the ropes he’d used on me weren’t tied tightly enough to hold me for long. I could have slipped free whenever I wanted. I just didn’t want to ruin his little game. Now, in the place where he’d seated me, he had his legs spread wide, watching me with a relaxed demeanor.
“You can’t ruin people like this. This won’t work.” I said, tightening the ropes a bit more. As I pressed my knees against his and adjusted the ropes on his chest, his teasing eyes followed my movements.
“What will work, then? Will you teach me?”
It seemed like this was the place he truly wanted to be. The man I’d been talking to since I opened my eyes was cold and dangerous, but there was a forced pressure on him. Now he looked free, observing me with admiration.
Remi was still there.
“First of all…” I started searching the pockets of his uniform. I got my hands on the riding crop and fake knife he’d just held against me. “You have to leave the person completely defenseless. They must feel they’re at your mercy.”
The room we were in wasn’t familiar, but I opened the drawers at the side. When I found a pair of scissors, I picked them up.
“And…” I cut the sleeves of my shirt first, then leaned in carelessly and cut a row from the layered frills on my skirt.
I gathered the torn strips in my fist and crossed the room to him. Without hesitation, I straddled his lap, my knees hugging the chair, and pressed one strip against his mouth. I knotted it behind his head, and he watched me, spellbound.
