The waiter came to take their order and Jasper went first, letting Konrad collect himself, holding tighter when Konrad tried to pull his hand away. Jasper knew he’d fostered that instinct by pulling away from him so many times but he wanted to fix that. The waiter put their orders in and then returned with the bottle of white wine Konrad had requested, opening it at the table and pouring them each a glass. He left them with the remainder of the bottle chilling on ice in a small bucket.

Konrad raised his glass. “To making our last night in Las Vegas unforgettable.”

Jasper touched his glass to Konrad’s and they both drank. It was strange to think they would be flying home tomorrow. He’d arrived in the city still fighting his feelings for Konrad, and everything since had been a whirlwind. Jasper remembered their deal: what happened in Vegas stayed in Vegas, if he wanted it to. He’d been so sure when he accepted those terms that he would take the out being offered to him. That had been the plan—have some fun, get Konrad out of his system, and wipe it all clean when they went home. Now that thought made him feel a little sick.

But the thought of taking this home, them, made it real in a way he wasn’t sure he was ready to face.

They could cross that bridge when they came to it. Jasper wasn’t going to ruin their last night in the city by brooding over tomorrow’s problems. He put it far from his mind, instead choosing to enjoy the sweet taste of the wine and the delicious food when it was brought out to them. Konrad talked about his restaurant, proudly announcing that it had an official date of opening. He looked so pleased and Jasper couldn’t help smiling with him.

“You deserve it,” Jasper said, and he meant it.

Konrad smiled with his slightly crooked teeth, and Jasper loved them.

They swapped bits of information about themselves over dinner. Jasper told Konrad about his mother leaving him as soon as he was born, and he learned that Konrad’s parents had both been affluent, joined together in an arranged marriage. Konrad learned that Jasper used to want to be a veterinarian, and Jasper discovered that Konrad knew how to waltz, tango, and foxtrot—but only considered himself passable at salsa dancing.

“So, dancing at a club was pretty much the only kind you weren’t familiar with,” Jasper said.

“And now I am.” Their plates were cleared and Konrad stood, offering his hand. “Come dance with me again.”

Jasper pushed his glasses up and slid his hand into Konrad’s, and warned as they stepped down onto the pavilion, “I hope you’re not expecting a foxtrot.”

“No, darling. But I do think you would be very good at it.” Konrad pulled him right to the middle of the dance floor, guiding him through a simple box step, one hand on Jasper’s waist and the other holding his hand. Jasper put his free hand on Konrad’s shoulder and almost stepped on his feet. Jasper became a less treacherous partner once he started to relax, letting Konrad sweep him about, happy to follow him. Konrad spun him and Jasper laughed as he was pulled back in.

Time slipped away, couples fading from the dance floor one by one until it was only them and the band. All the fancy steps and spins had settled into just swaying together. Jasper tucked his forehead against Konrad’s neck, enjoying that his choice of shirt left that skin bare to feel against his own.

Konrad reached back to take something out of his back pocket, and Jasper was surprised to see him holding his phone out. He wasn’t expecting to have a camera pointed at him, so his smile probably appeared shy when he looked up from Konrad’s neck, and he knew his cheeks still carried a flush from how long they’d been dancing. Konrad kissed his cheek, and Jasper wasn’t paying attention to the phone to know if he’d taken a picture of that, too. The fact Konrad wanted pictures of them together was endearing as hell.

They didn’t leave until the band started packing up. Once Konrad paid the check, he drove them back to the hotel, his hand on Jasper’s thigh the whole way. Jasper made it as far as the elevator before he dragged Konrad to him for a kiss. He only pulled away when they got to their floor, and even then, he pressed Konrad against the outside of their door and kissed all over his neck while Konrad tried to slap the key card blindly against the scanner.

The door finally opened and Jasper pursued Konrad relentlessly across the threshold.

He walked Konrad backward as he kissed him, both of them kicking their shoes off along the way. He loosened the laces of Konrad’s shirt so he could pull it over his head, and Konrad stripped him of his in return. Jasper sighed into his mouth as their bare chests met, turning Konrad to push him up against the vast window, feeling Konrad shiver when the cold glass touched his back.

Konrad leaned back to look at Jasper’s face. “Earlier, you likened me to Oscar Wilde. He once said, ‘The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it.’”

“Do you want to get rid of your temptation?” Jasper asked, hands flexing on Konrad’s waist.

“No,” Konrad said, his voice strained. “I want to yield.”

Jasper lost any semblance of control.

Their pants were gone in a few mutually impatient tugs, though Jasper also took Konrad’s underwear, leaving Konrad beautifully naked before him. Jasper looked down at his glistening cock with a groan. He started kissing Konrad’s neck again, working his way up to his ear. “You wet for me, sweetheart?” he asked in a low drawl.

“Jasper,” Konrad gasped, his grip on Jasper tightening with the pet name.

Jasper sucked on his earlobe as he pressed against him, and moaned when he felt Konrad’s cock throb against his hip. He shed his own underwear, the only thing still between them, leaving Jasper in nothing but his glasses. Konrad used that brief moment of distraction to drop to his knees. Jasper barely had a moment to register that before Konrad’s mouth was on him.

“Fucking—Christ, Konrad,” he moaned in shock as Konrad eagerly wrapped his lips around the head of Jasper’s cock. His tongue played with the piercing and Jasper’s hand shot out to brace against the window. He buried his other hand in Konrad’s hair, the blackness of his tattoo standing out in stark contrast to Konrad’s pale locks.

Konrad sucked his cock like a supplicant at the altar of his god. He couldn’t get more than half of Jasper in his mouth without his gag reflex intervening, and he looked so gorgeous when he tried, his brows knitting with pleasure as if even choking on Jasper’s cock was a blessing.

“Oh, fuck,” Jasper groaned. Konrad’s wet eyes lifted to his and Jasper admired the streaks of black on his cheeks.

He soaked up the worshipful attention of Konrad’s mouth until he felt his orgasm building. Only then did he gently drag Konrad away, pulling him back up to his feet. “Stay here,” Jasper said, and went to get the lube out of the nightstand. He returned, and the sight of Konrad waiting for him, leaning back against the window naked with his weeping cock at full attention, was not one he’d soon forget. His trust emboldened Jasper, giving him the courage to make a single demand. “Tell me what you want.”

“I want you to fuck me, Jasper.”

He had not expected Konrad to come right out with it. And fuck, it was hot that he did.
