“Can do summat for you.” Jake kissed him softly. “If you want.”
The want was there. Jake could feel it in the way Harrison kissed him back, the way his hand tightened against Jake’s back, not to mention between his legs.
But Harrison shook his head. “Let me just have this.” He twirled a lock of Jake’s hair around his. “Let me hold you for a while.”
That shut Jake up.
Because apparently Harrison Black could put his hand around his cock, tell him exactly how to move and reduce him to a fucking wreck without Jake batting an eyelid, but that...So Jake rested his head back on Harrison’s chest.
“Alright.” He should probably have left it there. But apparently getting wanked stupid had also removed whatever remained of his self-preservation, because he heard himself say, “You can hold me all night if you want.”
The words were out before he could stop them.
And fuck.
Jake screwed his eyes shut.
Because somehow that felt more revealing than anything they’d just done. More than being naked while Harrison stayed fully clothed. More than coming apart in his hand while Harrison watched every fucking second of it.
This wasn’t sex.
This was morning.
Harrison still being here when Jake opened his eyes.
Something Jake had never offered anyone before.
And Jake waited for the hesitation. The careful retreat. Maybe even a joke to make what he’d just said mean less.
None came.
Chapter four
Nothing to Report
God, yes.
Harrison wanted to.
Wanted to pull Jake closer and keep him there. Feel the warm weight of him against his chest, those ridiculous curls beneath his chin, and not have to think about what came next.
Fuck.
Something was happening.
He could feel it, sharp and insistent, pushing against every careful line he’d drawn for himself. Too fast. Far too fucking soon.
Yet his body apparently hadn’t received the message.
He tightened his arm around Jake, spreading his palm across the warm skin of his back as though holding him closer might quiet whatever had started clawing its way through Harrison’s chest.
It didn’t.
It made it worse.
“I’m so sorry, Harry, baby. I never meant to ruin your future.”
Harrison’s breath snagged.
