Scott looks over the railing.

The tactical team is climbing onto the forward deck.

“I’ll go with Ben and Piers. John and Mark, get Naomi and the prisoners off the ship.”

“I’m going below,” Naomi says.

“No,” Piers tells her.

“I know where they took Captain Marquez.”

“Tell us.”

“The second stairwell. There’s a red door at the bottom. Donald used a key.”

John searches Donald’s pockets and finds a ring of keys.

Donald smiles.

“You won’t know which one.”

Naomi walks toward him.

John doesn’t stop her.

She looks at the man who kidnapped her, bound her and struck her.

Then she drives her knee between his legs.

Donald collapses with a strangled cry.

Naomi takes the key ring from John.

“This one.”

She holds up a small brass key.

“I watched him use it.”

Piers almost smiles.

“I like her.”

“Get her off the ship,” Ben orders.

The warning horn sounds again.

The Argent Star slides another foot down the rocks.

The tactical team reaches the bridge. Two officers take custody of Simon and Donald while the others move toward the lower decks.

Naomi catches Ben’s arm.

“There’s something else.”

“What?”
