“Look at her,” Leon said. “Two cocks aren’t enough for you, are they? You need more, greedy little thing.”

Darius caught my hair and tipped my head back, then bent to kiss me. Our teeth knocked together, and I clung to him while I tried to speak against his mouth.

“Bite me. Please claim me again. Bite me!”

Leon lowered his mouth to my right breast as Darius lifted my wrist to his lips. The second their teeth broke my skin, I came so hard I couldn’t make a sound. I clung to both of them as my body shook, wave after wave of pleasure rolling through me until I could barely tell where one ended and the next began.

I felt them both come as they buried themselves deep, holding me between them with low groans and growls.

Darius pressed his mouth to my shoulder. “I love you, Elowen.”

I turned my head towards him as far as I could, my throat tightening. “And I love you,” I panted. “So much it scares me.”

Then I turned to Leon, wrapped my arms around him, and buried my face against his neck. “I love you, baby. More than words can express.”

“And I love you, sweetheart. You are my greatest treasure, my world.”

I was still trying to catch my breath when Leon’s knot began to swell. He kept me close and stroked my back while Darius held my hips steady. By the time Darius’s knot swelled too, I could do little more than cling to Leon and let them hold me.

Eventually, Leon kissed my forehead. “We should make you comfortable.”

“That would be lovely.”

“It may take a little planning.”

I smiled into Leon’s neck as Darius laughed against my shoulder. “I’m leaving this to the professionals.”

“Very wise, sweetheart.”

They moved together carefully, Leon easing onto his side while Darius supported my hip and followed behind me. I stayed tucked against Leon as we settled into the cushions, Darius close to my back and my head resting on Leon’s chest.

A low purr started beneath my cheek, and I closed my eyes when Darius joined him. Their warmth and the steady vibration slowly pulled all the tension out of me after everything I’d felt that afternoon.

Leon brushed my hair away from my face. “Sleep, sweetheart. We’ve got you.”

“Always,” Darius murmured, kissing my shoulder as his hand rested over my stomach.

I smiled and closed my eyes, warm between them, still feeling the happiness of all five of my mates through the bonds.

Yes, I was very happy.

Chapter 32

Elowen

By six months pregnant, I’d worked out exactly why my mates were so respected in House Vaelor. Once those men decided something needed doing, they did it quickly, and right now most of that terrifying efficiency seemed aimed at me and our babies.

We had more guards than I could keep track of; doors had appeared where I was quite sure there hadn’t been doors before; and Darius had started telling me exactly who was coming into the residence, why they were there, what they had with them, and when they were leaving. I loved it. Every new guard made me feel a little better; every locked door helped; and every security measure Darius added, or person Lucien checked before they were allowed anywhere near me, loosened something inside my chest.

I knew none of it could guarantee that nothing bad would ever happen, but when I was home with my mates and all the people Darius trusted around us, I felt safe.

Going outside was different. I hadn’t told anyone yet, but I was starting to wonder whether I was becoming agoraphobic. I wasn’t even sure that was the right word. I just knew I really, really didn’t want to leave the residence anymore.

I could picture myself walking through the doors, down the corridors, into the lifts, then stepping out onto the street. That’s when my brain usually took over. Someone could get close before Darius knew they were there. I could fall. Somebody could hurt the babies.

One morning, Lucien asked if I wanted to go out with him and the rest of the Pack.

“No.”
