“Mason…”
“Mason can wait,” she said, taking my lips in a kiss, moving over my body, wild, desperate, taking and taking. Until I had no breath left to give, and yet, I gave.
“If you don’t stop now, I’m going to come in my fucking pants.” I closed my eyes. Tight. Tighter. “I can’t come in my pants.”
“I’m so close.” She laughed.
“Awesome. You do that, Red, while I hold on for dear life.”
She smiled against my lips. I loved the shape of her happiness, the shape of her body.
I loved every fucking thing about Yara West, and she would use it to make me go insane.
“Oh, come on, I think it’s kinda hot. Come with me.”
She pressed her hips down, and I let out a strangled sound. Like an animal dying.
“Come with me, darling. Come. With. Me.” She panted, biting the tip of my ear. Her fingers teased my body. Drawing me in and breaking my resistance.
“You’re hellbent on killing me, aren’t you, Little Killer?”
It wasn’t going to be hard. I was already losing this game before she had even started.
She moved faster and faster, until I came in my fucking pants, screaming.
After a few seconds, her teeth sank into my shoulder.
She shuddered, breathing my name.
When she was finally , she looked so fucking pleased.
“Let’s go catch a fucking fish.”
“In my stained jeans?”
She laughed, utterly unrepentant, and so very pleased.
I love her.
“Yes.” She gave me a nod. “After this shit-show is over, I’m going to take you on a vacation. We’re going to stay inside a room for a month, with a DND sign on the door, and not do anything.”
“Except each other,” I said. Such poetry!
“Except each other.”

HOOK, LINE AND SINKER
YARA
Iwas excited—it had been a long time since I felt the thrill rushing through my veins, the loud pounding in my ears that did not come from anger.
Ryden waited in his car, watching the drama unfold, while I worked on my mission. My heart raced as I looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of my prey, but he was nowhere to be seen. Oh, right. He was the one hunting for now.
It had been a while since I had come here. It looked different without Miranda, odd and almost empty. Like a strange land I had never been to.
I ordered a tiramisu and a latte, and waited, tapping my finger against the counter.
