“I want to take you home with me,” he said, and I just nodded.

We walked out of the VIP section and I let him lead the way. When we got outside, he threw his keys to the valet and he quickly caught them and jogged off to get the car for him.

“Where your car at?” he asked me. He had completely caught me off guard and I had to think fast.

“Umm, I caught an Uber here,” I said, letting another lie roll off of my tongue.

He simply nodded his head and then a few minutes later, the valet driver came back, pushing a Matte black Mercedes G- wagon. I swear this was the most beautiful car that I had ever laid eyes on in my life.

“Wow, this is your car?’ I asked in amazement.

“One of them,” he said and grabbed my hand then helped me to get into the car.

After I climbed in the car, he went over to his side, got in and took off out of the parking lot. I smiled to myself because I had managed to come home with the fuckin’ club owner, and I didn’t even have to seduce him because he came on to me. He drove with the music softly playing, and I just sat there quietly, smiling about what was going to come of this situation.

“Why you so quiet over there?” Davion asked me.

“No reason at all. It’s not every day that I just hop into the car with a total stranger,” I said with a smirk on my face.

“Well, by the end of the night, trust me, I won’t be a total stranger anymore,” he said and squeezed my thigh.

About thirty minutes later, we pulled into an upscale community. I’ve seen my fair share of big houses, but these houses that we were now passing looked like mansions. Even though it was dark as hell outside, I was still able to see how beautiful this neighborhood was. We finally pulled up in front of one of the houses, and of all the houses we passed, I think that this one was the biggest on the block.

Davion hit a button in the car and the garage doors opened. He pulled into the garage and we both stepped out of the car with him walking in front of me to open the door.

When we walked in the house, we entered what I assumed was the den area. Wow, this room was beautiful. “Can you give me a tour? If this is what the den looks like, I’m dying to see the other parts of the house,” I said.

I hope I wasn’t coming off as a groupie or some shit like that, but I was a woman who loved nice shit, and clearly his house was nice shit. He smiled, grabbed my hand, and gave me a tour of the entire house which consisted of six bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms, a swimming pool inside and outside, movie theater, game room, basketball court outside, just everything that a perfect house has.

“And you stay here by yourself?” I asked when we got back in the den and sat next to each other on the couch.

“Yeah, but on the weekends, my son comes over. That was his room decorated up there with the Miami heat theme,” he said proudly. I could tell that he adored his son.

“Oh wow, and how old is he?”

“Davion Jr is six years old. Yeah, his mother and I didn’t work out, but we co-parent, and for the most part, that seems to be working better for us,” he said with faraway look in his eyes. I could tell that he still had a soft spot for her in his heart.

“You seem like a really good guy. Do you always bring random woman with you to your home? I mean, this is where you and your son rest your heads. I would think that you would have taken me to a hotel or something,” I said.

“Nah, I don’t bring random women over here. Besides my ex-wife, you’re the only woman to ever step foot inside my home. I don’t know what it is about you, Monica, but it’s got me interested to find out more. I haven’t been with a female since my wife and I split up. Don’t get me wrong, a nigga still gets his dick wet, but I’m talking relationship wise. I haven’t been with a female,” he said and I nodded my head.

For the rest of the night, we stayed up talking, telling each other our story. While everything he told me was probably the truth, I was just keeping the lies flowing as I went along. It’s crazy because I wanted to be honest with him, and I could see how attentive he was, but I was scared. I was scared that he was going to judge me for the fucked up choices that I had made in life, and I was also scared that he would try to kill me once I confessed that I was planning to rob him tonight.

It was something about him that made me feel wanted, it was the way he looked at me. Never has a guy looked at me that way. Most niggas knew that I was a money hungry bitch in Miami, so they never really took me serious. Davion didn’t know that, which is why he was looking at me the way he was.

8:06 A.M.

I woke up ea

rly as hell the next morning, and when I looked around, I was in what I assumed was Davion’s bedroom. I opened my eyes, and when I did, I came face to face with Davion holding a gun, pointed at my head.

“You got about one minute to start talking because I’m about a second away from blowing your fuckin’ head off!” he gritted.

I looked down and noticed that he was holding my cellphone in his left hand. Oh shit! Did he go through my messages? Oh my God, I forgot to turn the phone off last night. God only knows what Tracy had texted me and what Davion had seen.

“Davion, please just put the gun away and let me explain everything to you,” I pleaded.

He shook his head no. “I ain’t putting shit away, you fuckin’ liar. I bring your ass to my house, not even knowing you. I told you that I saw something in you last night and this morning I wake up to your phone ringing back to back. I’m not even the type of nigga to go through a bitch phone, especially if she ain’t my bitch. What confused me the most was the fact that you claimed you just moved down here and you didn’t have any family or friends, yet your phone keeps ringing. Please let me know that this nigga has the wrong number or something! And who the hell is Chantel? The nigga keeps texting and saying Chantel,” he said.
