There you go again, what difference does it make?

Be honest, Jena, you know you want them. Why not admit it?

The problem was, which one? She was attracted to both of them.

Sitting on the edge of one of the beds, Sean kicked off his boots, and turned to Matt. “Jena is quite wonderful, don’t you think?”

“I already know where you’re going with this.” Matt pulled out the sofa sleeper. “Either way, I have to agree with you, she definitely is wonderful. The way she handled herself back at the warehouse was something else, wasn’t it?”

“So easy on the eyes, too.” He would love to see what she looked like right now—all wet and out of her clothes.

Matt nodded. “Like you said before, she’s quite the little package.”

“We don’t want to force her into anything, but there’s nothing wrong with…strong hints.”

“Let’s just play this by ear and see where it goes.”

Hoping for the best, he nodded. “Good plan.”

Jena hung her wet, clean clothes on the empty towel rack. It would take several hours for them to dry. She wrapped her body in the sheet, making sure it looked somewhat presentable and not like a white mumu. Her damp hair hung to her shoulders. She glanced at her reflection in the mirror again.

Makeup looks okay. Guess I’m ready.

She opened the door and looked at the two Texans in her motel room. “Next.”

They didn’t move or speak but only stared at her. It seemed like several minutes went by, but she knew it was only a handful of seconds at most.

“What’s wrong?” she asked, glancing at herself. “Don’t I look presentable?”

Sean stood. “You look absolutely beautiful.”

“Gorgeous,” Matt said, stepping up beside him. “I’ve never seen anyone make a sheet look so sexy in my life.”

She felt a shiver go up and down her spine. That’s not because my hair is damp. I need to get ahold of myself.

“Thank you. Who is going next?” she asked, trying to control her desires. “The shower is free. I left you two dry towels. Or you could fight over who gets the other sheet from the other bed. I wouldn’t mind learning who would win that battle.”

“Me first,” Sean said in a tone that was filled with playfulness as he jumped up and ran for the bathroom door.

Matt raced behind him. “Not a chance.”

She laughed. “You two could conserve water and take a shower together.”

“We’re not gay, Jena.” Sean smiled and teased.

She gazed at them standing there, both holding onto the door. “Honestly, that didn’t even cross my mind. I just thought you two looked cute running to the bathroom. You two always been so competitive?”

“Our whole lives,” they answered in unison.

“Cavemen. I knew it,” she laughed. “Let me help you out of this predicament.” She grabbed her purse and pulled out a quarter. “Heads, Sean goes first. Tails, Matt.”

Matt smiled. “Glad you called me tails, Robin Hood. I like that handle.”

These two were trouble. “You’re more devil than Tall Texan aren’t you?”
