Tyler just stood there.
“Tell me what?”
“Nothing,” Tyler said nervously.
Cap looked at Ant expectantly. So she laid it all out to him. When she was done Cap exploded.
“You did what?!”
“It’s not a big deal.”
“What the hell is wrong with you?!”
“Nothing.”
“And what happens when they show up here and try the same stupid stunt?”
“They won’t come here.”
“How do you know?”
“I know.”
“You better hope nothing happens to my place.”
“Nothing’s gonna happen.”
“That’s right nothing’s gonna happen. Know how I know? Cause you’re gonna sit outside all night tonight and watch it.”
“No I’m not.”
“Oh yes you are. You’re gonna sit outside the store every night till I say you can stop and make sure nothing happens.”
“Oh. Come on…”
“Come on nothing. Now get back to work.”
Cap was disgusted. He went back to the office shaking his head and not knowing what he was going to do with this kid.
Gary Green Shirt laughed.
“What are you laughing at?”
“Nothing.”
“That’s right nothing. Because you’re gonna sit out here all night with me. So the joke’s on you.”
“Aww, man…”
Then he turned to Ant. “And you. You ratted me out.”
“It’s your own fault. Who does something like that?”
“Snitch,” he said.
“Dumbass,” she said.
