“Just thinking,” I reply against his lips.

Moving my head to one side, I give him access to my neck. He trails his lips down to my collarbone, and mumbles against my skin, “Let’s go make out,” he nibbles my ear lobe sending a bout of lust straight to my core, “on the Ferris wheel.”

“Mmmm, I thought we were already making out.”

He chuckles against my sensitive skin. “You haven’t seen anything yet.”

Releasing me, he grabs my hand and, with a slight tug, pulls me towards the bright lights of the Ferris wheel.

The carnival is packed with people tonight, which isn’t surprising considering the location, but none the less people have come out in droves.

I’m glad the guys suggested this though because it’s been a few years since I was last at a carnival and I’ve forgotten how much fun they are. And how yummy their corn dogs and cotton candy are.

As we approach the Ferris wheel, I come to a stop and stand watching it go round. It’s exciting—the music, the lights, the whole design of the wheel, which looks to be in the fifties style. It’s beautiful.

Donovan slips his arms around my waist from behind and rests his head on my shoulder. “Are you okay?”

“I’m better than okay. I’m excited we’re here. I’d forgotten how much I loved the carnival with all the noise, lights and food.”

“Trust you to mention the food,” he chuckles.

“Hey. There’s nothing like eating carnival food.”

I turn in his arms.

“I bet if you tasted me right now, you’d be able to taste the cotton candy I’ve just finished.”

He groans. “You’re going to kill me.”

I rub up against him and feel the bulge behind his zipper.

“Taste me Dono—”

I don’t finish. His mouth is on mine. His hands grip my hips to hold me against him or keep me still—I’m not sure which. I’m not the only one who tastes of cotton candy. He tastes delicious and I want more. Reaching up, my hands grip the back of his neck as I try to climb up him; his tongue imitating what he does with his dick inside my sex, which is clenching with need.

“That’s getting pretty heated,” Phoenix states causing Donovan and me to break for much needed air.

Looking at Phoenix, he’s grinning. “You do know you’re in public? As in, you have a large audience.”

As I look around, some people turn away, but yeah, there are a few people around watching us, which is embarrassing.

I bury my face in Donovan’s chest and hear him chuckling.

“Thanks, man. That could have been awkward if we’d gotten any further carried away.”

“Don’t get too carried away on the Ferris wheel. Don’t want you falling out,” Phoenix adds, waving over his shoulder as he walks off.

“C’mon babe. It’s our turn.” Donovan keeps his arm around me as we climb aboard one of the cars on the wheel.

Sitting down, Donovan covers our laps with a blanket. I give him a quizzical look because the night is still humid and doesn’t really call for a blanket.

“Be patient, Mara.”

The wheel moves slightly to allow the next couple to climb into one of the cars taking us slightly higher. Donovan wraps his arm around me and pulls me close.

I’m so excited and rest my head in the crook of Donovan’s shoulder as he holds me tight.

It isn’t long before we actually get moving on our five-minute ride. I love the breeze that’s caressing my skin with the movement of the wheel. It doesn’t go too fast and with it being dark, we can see all the lights in the distance, even a few boats out at sea.
