“I love you, I don’t care.”

Hearing a throat being cleared we jump apart, “Mom, you scared us.”

“Hmm, you’re lucky it was me walking in, your Dad and Beth are a few minutes behind me.”

“Damn.” I start to try and get the flour off Gabe, but I end up making it worse than it was to begin with.

“Bree, you wash up. Gabe you use the bathroom.” Mom says, pushing Gabe towards the downstairs bathroom.

She turns back around to face me, “What on earth happened in here?”

“I had an accident with the flour, just before Gabe walked in.”

“That was getting pretty hot.” Mom says, raising an eyebrow.

“What was getting pretty hot?” Travis asks, walking into the kitchen, “What happened in here?”

“Travis. I didn’t know you were back.”

“Bree, please stop changing the subject.” Going over to Travis, I reach up and hug my brother, “The hot plate was getting hot and the bag of flour burst on me.” Nice save Bree.

Gabe walks back into the kitchen looking slightly better than before; he joins me and Travis near the kitchen door.

“Hey Gabe, there’s a party in town tonight. Do you want to go?”

Seeing Gabe hesitate, I grin and he rolls his eyes, “Okay, Bree why don’t you come with us?”

Seeing my brother about to refuse, “I’d love to.” I say quickly.

Winking at Gabe, I walk back to the table to try and help Mom clean up the flour disaster. “Leave it honey, I’ve got it.”

“Mom it’s okay. My mess, my clean up.”

“Be here around seven, and we can all go together.” Travis shouts, half way out the door.

“Bree, use the cloth and push it onto floor, and then I’ll sweep it up.”

“Thanks Gabe.”

I’m standing next to Mom, leaning against the cabinet in the kitchen watching Gabe clean up my mess. I can’t help but drool over his butt and his back muscles as he moves; he’s one hunk of a guy. He only has to smile at me and my panties are wet.

I’m sure I’ve just heard my Mom sigh next to me; I turn to look at her just as she turns to me and we both burst into giggles.

Gabe who has no idea he’s being drooled over, ignores us while he finishes the clean up job. This is fine by me; I could watch him all day. “All done.”

Putting the dust pan and brush away, he washes his hands. I walk into him wrapping my arms around his waist. “What are we going to do about the dance tonight? Travis won’t expect us to dance together and I’ll kill you if you dance with anyone under

sixty.”

“I don’t know babe, but I’ve been to these things for a while now and I never dance. So at least it won’t look strange if I don’t get up on the dance floor.”

I kiss his chest, “But it will if I don’t. I usually dance when there’s a dance.”

He pulls me tight against him and rests his cheek to the top of my head, “Then dance all night with me. We can tell Travis you don’t want to get picked up – I’m protection.”

Hearing my Mom laugh, we both look up across the kitchen to her, “He wasn’t born yesterday, but I think you might be in luck as Sarah will be there and they’re sweet on each other, so hopefully he’ll be distracted.”

“Good. Do you want to come back to my place and watch that Christmas movie you bought me years ago?”
