He laughs. “I don’t see why you shouldn’t as we’re all here anyway, and if Parker wants her parent’s here, that’s one phone call to get them here.”

Parker starts crying and is immediately swept into Julian’s arms. He cradles her head against his chest and tells her, “If you’re not ready then we’ll wait. A piece of paper doesn’t change how I feel about you.”

Shaking her head, Parker looks at him through watery tears. “These are happy tears,” she wails. “You really want to get married this week, here?”

“We’d have been married in Vegas months ago if I would have had my way,” Julian adds.

“So we’re getting married,” she announces, and then gives Julian a sultry look. His hands freeze on her hips and then I can’t help laugh at the look on his face when she admits, “I think it’s as well that we’re getting married now because in just over seven months you’re going to become a daddy.”

Julian pales and then before us all, he drops to his knees, wraps his arms around his fiancées hips, and presses a kiss to her belly before he rests his head against her stomach.

I glance at Gia and she has tears in her eyes as she watches the romantic gesture.

“I’m glad we witnessed that,” he whispers against my head.

“Me too.”

Our trip to paradise turned out to be a lot more than expected.

THE END
