“We will run some tests and make sure, but I’m guessing you’re in the early stages.” He looks between me and Aiden before he decides to leave the room. “I’ll get the nurse to make you an appointment soon and we will see where everything is at.” He’s not even out of the room before Aiden is in front of me, leaning in with the lips I’ve loved since the first day I saw him.
“Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better.”
“I’m scared.”
“Don’t be. I’m here and the two of us can get through anything.” Jace reaches for me just as Aiden starts talking. We both adore this little guy and have loved expanding our little family to make room for him.
My life is already perfect, but knowing there’s a baby growing inside of me… Aiden’s baby… I can’t help but feel like a new definition of a perfect life is on its way.
