“Ooof!” I squeak. “It’s even fizzier than before!”

The two men smile indulgently.

“Is that even possible?” Clay remarks.

“No, probably not, seeing that this is an already-open bottle,” replies Casper, throwing me a grin. “But it’s all good, honey. We’re just glad you like it.”

“I do,” I say, placing the flute down for a moment. “But tell me more about yourselves,” I invite. “You don’t have to reveal what you do, but rather what you like to do. Is it one and the same?”

Casper and Clay grin.

“You’re a very astute woman, Mara. The fact is that we enjoy our jobs in part because we work hard, play hard. And when we play, we travel, which is how we found the winery in the Loire Valley. If we’re not visiting the South of France, we’re usually headed out to Australia, Brazil, or India. Those are a few of our favorites, but there are a lot places to go that we haven’t tapped yet.”

My eyes widen. “Still, that’s an impressive list in and of itself! I mean, those countries are really different from one another, so you must have varied interests.”

The brothers think for a moment.

“Yeah, probably. We like to explore new cultures, even if we’re totally shit at languages. Variety is the spice of life, right? It reminds us that we’re not along on this gorgeous place called Earth. But how about you, honey? Do you travel much as an attorney?”

My expression is wry.

“Sometimes, but rarely to anywhere more exciting than another city in the United States. Jersey, mostly, so rah rah. Most of the clients at my firm are based in NYC and that works for us, since most of our attorneys are only licensed to practice in New York. I take vacations when I can but lately, I’ve been too busy with work to even get out even in the city, much less do any world traveling.”

I can hear how pathetic and pitiful my words sound. After all, my life has been boring for months now, and I cringe in embarrassment. What must Clay and Casper think? They probably believe I’m the dullest person in the world, given my confession.

But then I remind myself that this is just a one night thing. The twins have no expectations of seeing me again, and me of them either. I have to get my head screwed on straight and keep things in perspective, even if my clients are utterly gorgeous.

“That’s okay,” Casper says in a low voice, taking my hand. “We all go through funks, and yours isn’t even a funk, really. You’re just busy and maybe burned out a little from work. Maybe you should let loose a little.”

A shiver goes through my spine and the air feels charged between us. I lick my lips as both men watch, their blue eyes gleaming.

“I agree” I whisper. “But what would you suggest?”

“Easy,” Clay says, taking my other hand and pressing a kiss to the palm. “We can help you, honey.”

But as Clay hauls me in close, I let out a small gasp, bringing both men to a halt. Clay looks deep into my eyes, and leans in so close that our lips touch. “Sweetheart, what’s wrong?”

I gasp a little, my heart racing as my pupils dilate.

“Well, I’ve just never been with two men, that’s all,” I confess in a small voice. “Will you show me what to do?”

Casper presses a tender kiss to my neck before running his tongue across my jaw.

“Yes of course,” he growls while trailing his mouth across my clavicle. “We’re here to teach, honey. Let us show you how.”

With that, a weight lifts from my shoulders and I tilt my head back to give him better access while letting out a long, low sigh. The ball of tension that had been knotting in my stomach releases, and a wanton shiver runs down my spine. I want this. I need this. I’ve worked so hard, and I deserve it. Reading my mind, the men pull back and grin.

“We’ll teach you everything you need to know, baby girl,” Casper whispers hoarsely. “Just trust us.”

I pull away to look at my twin lovers. God, they’re handsome with that night black hair and the hungry look in their eyes. With a playful smile, I reply, “I’ll be the best student you’ve ever had, I promise, Clay and Casper.”

With that, all restraint evaporates. The men push me back onto the couch before tearing my dress from my body.

“Oh!” I gasp while staring down at the tatters of fabric scattered out, my eyes wide. “Oh my God!”

“It’s fine, baby girl,” Clay growls as he nuzzles my neck again. “We’ll buy you a new dress. Ten new dresses if you want. But first, let us enjoy.”

Then, my bra’s off in an instant, and my panties too, although the men pause for a moment to regard the lace with satisfaction.
