“He hurt one of our own—one of my own, baby. What happens to him is club business.”

“That’s why Ride came by with a U-Haul while I was visiting G and loaded my crap, wasn’t it? He had Lenny in the back of it.”

“Midnight—”

“You used the nickname again. Which is it now, Jack? Do you want to throttle me or fuck me?” she asks, tilting her head to the side to study my face.

“I always want to fuck you,” I respond, brushing my thumb back and forth on her cheek.

“I think I’m going to stop asking about Lenny because I got a feeling I’d rather not know.”

“That’s a good plan, baby.”

“You know what a better plan would be?” she whispers, kissing my stomach and looking up at me.

My hand slides into her hair as she shifts so that she’s between my legs, stretched over my body. She goes back to kissing my stomach, pushing the sheet out of her way as she goes. My cock was already semi-hard, but with just those simple touches, it’s hard enough to tent the sheet, stretching out to the woman who owns me body and soul.

“What’s that?” I ask, my voice hoarse with hunger. She can stir a fire inside of me so easily that it always amazes me.

“That you keep me busy, so I don’t worry you’re getting into legal trouble for taking care of club business.”

“That I can do,” I murmur, tightening my hand up in her hair, as she moves down my body, her lips leaving a heated trail that brands me to my core.

“Oh look, my first distraction,” she whispers, wrapping her hand around my aching shaft.

“I aim to please,” I growl, using my hand to guide her mouth down to my cock.

She hums her approval as her mouth slides down on me and the pleasure makes me want to close my eyes and enjoy, but I fight it. I want to watch her suck me off and swallow me down.

The lights from the Christmas tree are filling the room. I’ve never liked Christmas. Never had one worth even acknowledging the holiday. As I watch the woman I love, work me with her hand and her mouth, I realize that it has all changed now. Drew is my gift, and if I had to wade through all the shit in my past to get to this moment…

It was more than worth it.

Then, I stop thinking as Drew takes me to heaven.

Chapter 21

Drew

Christmas Day

“You look beautiful, Drew.”

I turn to see Toi. She’s the girl my brother was hung up on bad. I must admit, she is gorgeous with her wavy, golden locks, curves, and perfect cheekbones. She has this soft, sweet voice, which I’m told is in part because she had an injury that affected her ability to speak. She also loves her husband completely. I don’t know Marcum that well yet, but he doesn’t make a secret of how much he loves his wife or his children—and I’m kind of scared to ask how many children he has. I’m pretty sure that man could field several football teams with his offspring.

“Thank you. I know I shouldn’t be, but I’m so nervous.”

“Why on earth for? You have to know that Train is absolutely in love with you,” she says, and I smile.

“Yeah, I know, but that’s a huge crowd out there,” I laugh, peeking through the door again.

“I guess it is. Marcum invited several allies in and their clubs. From there, it just became a giant party. You’ll learn this club really likes those,” she laughs.

“Oh crap,” I whisper as the music is starting.

“I better go wrangle up my babies to start them walking down the aisle,” she says, giving me a hug.

“Thank you for helping me get this all done so quickly, Toi. I truly appreciate it.”

“Oh please, don’t worry about it. It’s good practice for me. We’re family. Besides, my oldest stepdaughter is quietly planning her wedding. We just haven’t announced it yet because Marcum is having a cow because she’s marrying a cop.”

I start giggling. I can’t help it. I haven’t known Marcum long, but I think he pretty much makes his own laws.

“Sure, you laugh. I may not survive,” Toi jokes, going out the door and grabbing the hands of her little boy and girl and walks up the aisle in the middle of them as the music plays. I don’t really know anyone here, so Toi is standing beside me. Train has Marcum beside him. The men are wearing jeans and their cuts, but Toi, the kids, and I are all decked out. My dress is a Vera Wang and cost a mint. I was going to pay for it, but Jack wouldn’t let me.

“I hear someone here needs escorted down the aisle.”

I look up to see my brother standing in front of me, on a cane.
