Chapter Six

Sebastian

I can hear the orgy before I can see it.

Striding down the hallway of the hotel toward the grand ballroom, the high screams of a woman’s orgasm echo toward me, along with dozens of moans and flesh slapping against flesh.

Motherfucking Aza.

The demon had apparently decided to arrive quite early, and texted Caspian to let him know he was missing out on the fun. Which of course drove him into a frothy rage, thus the call that interrupted my delicious time with Luciana.

So, now I have to deal with an unruly demoness making a thinly-veiled power play, my brother’s temper tantrum, and a case of about the worst blue balls I’ve ever had in my life.

I hit the doorway to the ballroom and stop, surveying the scene before me.

It looks like Aza has compelled about every single guest at the resort, humans included. There are dozens of nude bodies sprawled about the room. At least a dozen lie atop the massive mahogany banquet table. Another dozen writhe in a pile on the floor in front of the marble fireplace. And the rest are grouped in small clusters, utilizing chairs, loveseats, and the grand piano. One particular group is taking creative license with hot candle wax, as well as the silver candlesticks.

The worst part is, I can’t even enjoy this like I usually would.

My eyes narrow and criss-cross the room until I spot Aza, who is lounging in one of the wing-backed chairs with a young blonde woman’s face buried between her legs and two burly men licking her nipples. I shove down my frustration so it’s not visible, then walk casually across the room toward her.

Unsurprisingly, she doesn’t notice me when I arrive. Or, more likely, she’s pretending she doesn’t.

“Aza,” I say jovially. “I wasn’t expecting you until tomorrow.”

Her eyes open slowly, and she smiles soporifically. “You know Inferni is one of my favorite resorts, Sebastian. I wanted more time before all the business starts in a couple days.”

She moves one hand down to the blonde’s head and shoves her even deeper. A little sigh of pleasure escapes her red lips. Her hair is red, too, so dark it’s almost literally so. She’s wearing nothing but several strands of rough-cut diamonds that cascade down her chest.

“Well, had I known, I could have gotten the humans cleared out.” I press my lips into a thin smile. “I do run a business here, you know.”

“I promise you this will be the best thing any of these tourists do in their whole pathetic lives,” Aza says. Her golden eyes burn into me. “Don’t spoil my mood, Sebastian. Join the fun.”

“I was having my own bit of fun before I got the call that you’d started the party early. And I’d like to get back to it.”

Aza’s eyes move to my tight gray pants and the bulge there. “I can see that.” She arches a brow and grins wickedly.

“I’ll get my staff to go ahead and close down the public area of the winery and move the human guests off premises.” My eyes drift down to the woman between Aza’s thighs.

“Not her,” Aza says. “I’m taking my time with this one.”

My magic flares and I raise my right hand, curling my fingers inward. Red mist drifts from my fingertips and Aza lets out a cry and arches off the chair. Shudders wrack her body and then a small scream rips from her throat. A moment later she slumps back with half-lidded eyes.

“Damn you, Sebastian,” she says breathily. “Don’t use your sex magic on me.”

“Then don’t order me around on my own property,” I say with a cruel smile. “I’ll be back in a bit. Try to behave yourself until then.”

I tap the blonde on the shoulder and help her get off the floor. She looks dazed, as if she has no idea where she is. Guiding her by the elbow, I lead her to the door where a couple of my staff are waiting as instructed. I pass the woman off to them, then scan the auras in the room to identify the rest of the humans, about two dozen in total.

“Get them cleared out of there,” I tell my staff. “Compel them to forget and send them home.”

I stride down the hall to go check with another of my staff, one I’d tasked with shutting down the winery to any human visitors. A glance out the window tells me they’re making progress in emptying out the patio area. Not that I care about the humans’ welfare, but if they stick around people will inevitably end up dead, and that causes hassles from law enforcement that I don’t want to deal with.

Caspian is on his way, bumping up his arrival so it doesn’t look like Aza one-upped him. He’ll likely do something dramatic to compensate for Aza’s little show, and next thing you know we’ll be in a big demon dick-waving contest. I don’t relish the idea. If I had my way, I wouldn’t get dragged into any of it.

My thoughts swing back to Luciana. The timing of her arrival can’t be a coincidence. She must have gotten here at about the same time as Aza. Obviously sent to keep me distracted while her boss started an orgy in my ballroom.

It hadn’t taken long after all to figure out which demon Luciana is working for.

And I don’t enjoy being played.
