In fact, with a few rubs of my own fingers, I could get myself off right now, I was so close to the edge.

“I highly doubt that, but I’m glad you like it,” she said, turning her head to meet my eyes.

“Now what can I do for you?”

Alivia got me off easily with a few fingers and then we pulled out the cake to eat together on the bed.

Tomorrow Linley and Gray would be off to Paris for their honeymoon and all the wedding stress would be over. It was done.

We could still hear music from the reception playing.

“I’m really hoping I don’t get any more calls tonight,” Alivia said. “I’m not in the mood.”

“I don’t think they’ll be too rowdy. At least I hope not.” I hadn’t known everyone at the wedding, so I couldn’t vouch for them all.

“As long as they don’t set the tent on fire, we’ll be good,” Alivia said.

“I’ll keep my fingers crossed,” I said, scooping up a bite with lots of frosting.

“You can come over to my place sometime. I could sneak you in while Linley is gone,” I said.

Her honeymoon was too weeks, so I’d have that time to figure out what I was doing here with Alivia. Natalie already knew, so it would be easy to tell her that I needed the apartment for the night, since she was always gone anyway.

“I’d like that,” she said.

“We can eat donuts in bed. But my bed isn’t as nice as this one,” I said. This bed was so massive it would dominate my entire bedroom.

“It’s not really my bed, although I was the one who ordered it,” she said, setting her fork down on the plate and giving me the last bite.

I smiled at her before eating it.

“Well, it’s an excellent bed. I’m a big fan,” I said, laying back with a sigh.

“I know I should be exhausted, but I think I caught my second wind,” I said.

Alivia went to toss the plate and came back with a huge bottle of water.

“I feel like I’m fading,” she said. “I’m going to warn you, I usually completely crash after these things and you can’t wake me for at least like nine hours.”

“That’s okay. I don’t have anywhere to be tomorrow.”

She yawned and then I yawned.

“I’ll bring you breakfast,” she said, crawling under the covers.

“That sounds perfect,” I said, but her eyes had closed and I knew she probably hadn’t heard me because she fell asleep so fast.

I stayed up and read on my phone for a little bit before finally attempting to sleep. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in Alivia’s room and she was already up and bringing a tray into the room.

“Good morning. Or late morning,” Alivia said with a smile. She had her yoga pants and a tank on instead of her fancy work clothes, but she looked completely fresh and well-rested. It wasn’t fair at all.

“Good morning,” I said, sitting up in bed as she set the tray between us. Two slices of frittata, bacon, sausage, a bowl of strawberries and blueberries, and two glasses of orange juice.

“Is this okay?” she asked.
