“I don’t trust you. No matter what I do, you will get the video out.” She pulled her elbow away from him.
He shook his head. “I’m a Simha. I will never break my word.”
She looked at him for a long moment. “I’ll do anything to stay at Simha.”
He took a step closer, looking down at her as she tilted her chin up to look at him. “Anything?”
Her eyes widened for a bit, but she stood her ground, gritting her teeth. “Anything,” she repeated.
“I’m sure you’ll do anything. You’ve kissed me twice—”
She didn’t wait for him to finish. Instead, she started walking away again, and this time he followed and stopped her. “Fine. Let’s talk.”
“I don’t have time for this,” she spat.
“Fine.” He scanned her face like he couldn’t stop looking at her. “I have a few conditions to keep this video from going viral on the campus.”
She rolled her eyes. “What might those be?”
Rana let out a chuckle. “First, because of how quiet you can be, I need to give you a special name. Nam… Rata… Ratta like a rat?”
“Not funny.” She glared at him.
He twisted his lips. “Okay, let’s count that as the only condition you can deny.”
“What the heck?” She threw her hands up in the air. “You can’t just make up shit as you go.”
He thought for a moment, her anger exciting him in strange ways. “Fine, this is the absolute final offer.”
“And what is that?” She was getting impatient.
He took a moment longer before he spoke. “For the next two months, I want you to woo me in public. You need to fangirl me on campus. I want every soul on the campus to know that you are dying to go out with me.”
“Have you lost it?” Her voice was rough with anger.
“You were pretty good at it while it lasted,” he taunted.
“Just shut up. I have no reason to woo you.”
He let out a laugh. “Now you do if you want to keep the video a secret.”
“You have lost it,” she stated, gritting her teeth.
He shrugged. “There is no scarcity of girls wooing me so no big deal for me.”
“Why the heck do I have to fangirl you?”
A slow smile played on his face as he leaned closer. “I’m curious to see your skills of seduction. You were good the few times we met, and I want to see how far I can go with resisting you.” His breath started coming fast, and he noticed she was having the same effect. “And within the two months, if you manage to woo me to the point where I’m the one to kiss you, I will give you my phone to delete the video. No questions asked.”
Her eyes flashed like an idea went through her mind, but she stayed silent for a long moment. “You are an egotistical pig.”
He winked. “Great way to start the seduction.”
She narrowed her eyes. “I told you I was not trying to do that.”
“Fine. You didn’t back then, but now, pretending to be my number one fangirl is what I’m asking. And I mean, openly.”
“And what will you do?” She seemed livid.
