“That’s what I really think, Diana,” I tell her honestly.

She stalks over to me and reaches up but I grab her wrist and back her up against the cool wall.

“Leave me alone,” she snarls. “I fucking hate you.”

“You’re so easy to read, Diana,” I whisper.

She tries to get out of my hold, but I’m stronger than her. “Stop calling me by my name.”

“Diana, Diana, Diana. You have issues and you need to deal with them. I can help you if you want.”

“Stay the fuck away from me.” Her eyes glitter with fresh tears.

“Do you know how horrible you look, right now? Are you abusing again?” I ask. “Maybe that’s why you’re making up all these scenarios. Maybe you’re fucking with me. Do you know what I’ll do to you if I fucking find out that you’re behind all of this?”

Her face twists with pain and she looks down, the tears dripping down her nose and then her dark red lips.

“What is wrong with you?” she asks, her voice trembling.

“Hmm, I don’t know. I’m not normal remember?” I cock my head to the side. “Maybe if I ask you all these normal questions, maybe you’ll think I’m more human.”

Diana frowns before looking up into my eyes. “I’ve moved on from you, H. You’re not my only reason for living anymore.”

This piece of news surprises me and immediately the anger surfaces. Diana with someone new. Diana with someone other than me.

“Who is he?” I ask flatly, my left hand slides around her neck and I find my fingers tightening.

“No one you’d know,” she tells me my exact words when she asked about Parker.

“Try me,” I say.

Diana shakes her head and smiles. “He’s really good in bed too. You know, he loves taking his time when we’re together. And his emotions are beyond amazing. It’s not all a pretense like when I’m with you.”

I grab her shoulders and she flinches. “You’re lying. The drugs really messed with your head.”

“Am I lying, Hudson? Maybe you’re lying to yourself because you don’t want to believe what I have to say.” She seductively runs her tongue over her bottom lip. “You don’t want to believe that you’re not the important person in my life anymore.”

“You’re just another slut to me, Diana. You don’t have any worth.” My fingers dig into her arms and I can barely keep myself from exploding.

Diana cries out and I let go, before stalking over to the large mirror and punching it. The glass cracks and I punch the mirror again and again until there’s blood flowing and it’s smeared across the cold, shattered surface.

“Don’t call me when you have a fucking problem again!” I leave slam the door as I leave the room.

I need to calm down. My thoughts are going crazy again and I want to go back and teach Diana a good fucking lesson about messing with me, but I just keep walking until I leave the hotel and ignore the wide stares from people as the blood courses down my fingers.
