Chapter 13

Cahill

Waking at six in the morning, I get up and head straight to the gym to meet Ruairi. I know Sophie will sleep in, she had a big day yesterday. I am there first so I do some warms ups. Today we will do weights because we need to talk, to sort things out. I’m not sure if I should get into a sparring match with Ruairi, not without wanting to kill him for what he said about Sophie and scaring her. I know he meant let her get back to her normal life, but she didn’t know that.

Watching her fall apart in my arms was the hardest thing I have ever had to do. I know it’s because I love her. Stupid of me to fall in love, and never mind in the space of a few weeks. Hopefully she will catch up with that and love me back, but if not, I will spend my life loving her. Ruairi saunters in, head down, looking like he hasn’t slept.

“You get any sleep?”

“No, I sat up trying to work out what is going on. I’m getting nowhere, Cahill. I’m sorry for what I said about your girl, but I still think it’s her. You need to tell me what happened yesterday while up north, and maybe more about Sophie? Lauren is useless when it comes to Sophie’s life outside of Dublin here.”

Ruairi looks defeated, and that’s not like him. I let the comment he said last night go for now, but I will address it with him later.

“Yesterday, Liam and I went to Belfast to meet with Darragh, head of the Irish Rebellion. He’s been the main guy we deal arms to. You know him. The meeting went smooth, then I got a text from Jones to tell me about the smoke bomb. I didn’t say anything in front of Darragh. I excused myself saying there was an emergency and I needed to head back. I told Liam in the car when we left. On the back road from Dormara to Banbridge before the A1, a car came out of the side road and straight into us. We didn’t have a chance to clear it. Our car rolled. Liam and I got out. Listened, heard the first shot, and then we just took them out. They had us surrounded. One guy wasn’t dead. We asked him who he works for and what do they want. He just said, ‘You have something that isn’t yours, return it, and we will go away’. That was all I got out of him. Liam shot him in the head, you know what he’s like. I did see a tattoo of a Union Jack, but that’s all that stood out. We took their car and drove home. The car is at Jonathon’s place. He wants to do a swipe over it in case there is tracker or something and see if he can find out anything.”

I look at Ruairi who is taking in everything. I can see him trying to figure something out in his head.

“Now, Sophie, she doesn’t know her dad. She has lived in Muff, Co. Donegal all her life until she found work in Dublin. She said her granddad sends her money every month, which I find odd, but it could be true. She has never had a partner. She said every time she spoke to a fella he disappeared. She thinks it’s her, but now you are making me think maybe someone is watching over her. Also, she has never tried to contact her father as her mother hasn’t given her much information on him. Do you think it’s her dad?”

“Aye, defo. I am starting to think her dad is head of the unionist lot up north. If I’m right, he has some power but not across the border. Is he working with one of the families? I will dig around and check in with Jonathon too.”

“Which family would talk to them? None of the British families are here, they’re back in London. Do you think the Williams are helping them? Would they have sent manpower across? I think we would have heard. It’s the only family I can think of that would be crazy enough to work with the unionist group.”

“I don’t know anything, Cahill. I am just thinking. I want this fixed as much as you do.”

We are just finishing up our weights when I spot Jones coming in holding Sophie’s hand. She looks shaken. Jones points at me while talking to her but she stands still, holding Jones’ hand.

Ruairi looks up at her. “I’m sorry for what I said last night. I didn’t mean it the way it sounded. I like you. You are good for Cahill. I am just scared too. I like to fix problems. I am sorry, Sophie, I hope you can forgive me one day.” Ruairi puts his head down and goes to walk past her when I see her little hand reach out and grab him.

“Thank you, Ruairi. I am scared too. I didn’t mean to cause any of this, if it is me. I don’t understand it all. But I forgive you,” she says with a smile on her face. She has the biggest heart of gold that girl, my girl. Ruairi half smiles and walks back toward his room. I hope he gets some sleep now we have talked. I dry off my sweat and walk over to my girl and Jones.

“Sleep well, doll?” She is acting shy, has my girl lost her fight? “You not talking, doll?”

“I will go get breakfast ready for you both.” Jones drops her hand and walks away. I know Jones is gay, so I have nothing to fear from him wanting her, but I am jealous she ran to him for comfort and not me.

“Talk to me, doll. What is going on in that head of yours?”

“I just woke up and you weren’t there. I panicked and screamed. Jones heard me and brought me here. I didn’t realize how shaken up I am. Sorry.” I walk up and hug her, me, in my sweaty gym clothes. She embraces me, and I’m shocked, I would push me away. I put my hand under her chin and tilt her head so my woman can look into my eyes, and I kiss her. I don’t think I will ever get enough of her, any part I can have, even these kisses would do me forever if they were all I could have. My little doll deepens the kiss, and I am not complaining. She can take charge. Her greedy little hands roam all over my chest and back. She pulls my t-shirt off me, and I can’t wait to return the favor.

“What do you need, doll?” I don’t even sound like myself, I’m like a little lovesick puppy.

“I just want to forget yesterday, but also feel safe, can you do that, Cahill?” She purrs. I would walk on water if she asked me to. I keep kissing her and put my hands under my t-shirt that covers her body and grab her hard little peaks and pull them. A little pain with pleasure will make her forget everything. I watch her arch her back into my touch and I want my shorts off, I need to free my cock.

“Take my shorts off, Sophie.” Her shaky little hands pull my shorts down over my hips, my cock springs free, and I hiss. I watch as she drops to her knees and licks my cock from the balls to the head. Honestly, I could bust my nuts now, but I need to control myself. Right now, it’s about Sophie, not me. Even though I don’t stop her for a few minutes, I am enjoying my view.

I pull Sophie up from under her arms and I hear the pop of my cock leaving her mouth. I carry her over to the weight bench and lie her on her back, her legs naturally fall open for me. I get on my knees to feast the best breakfast I will ever have. I watch as she grabs her own nipples and arches her back. I slip two fingers in, bend them, and hit her sweet spot. I love the taste of her, and I don’t care who hears her cum on my face. If I have to die right now, I’d die a happy man knowing I made her cum. I watch her float down off her high. She is lying back on the weight bench. I stay on my knees in front of her and straighten the upper half of my body, until my cock is at her entrance, and I slip right in, a full thrust. I growl and she squirms. I thought she was ready, sensitive little thing she is. I keep pounding her. I suck my thumb, her eyes are closed which would annoy me, but they will open any second now. I push my slick thumb into her ass. Just like I thought, her eyes ping open, her mouth in a shape of an in O. I push in a little further, and then I feel her ready to cum again. “You like my thumb up your ass? Dirty girl.”

“Yes, sir. I am a dirty girl. Your dirty girl.”

Her calling me sir and my girl has sent me over the edge. “Cum now, Sophie!” I grind out between my teeth, and she does what she is told. I fill her up and fall on top of her.

“Well, that was an extra workout I wasn’t expecting this morning.” Sophie laughs. Hearing her laughter makes me feel like I’m on cloud nine.

“Come on, let’s get cleaned up before Jones is back down looking for us.”

We head back upstairs to shower and dress before going to breakfast. Jones has made a spread of food. Sophie is in her element looking at all of it. I really think Jones could do with a raise after how he dealt with yesterday, but I doubt he will take it. We all eat, including Ruairi, Liam and Jones. Sophie and Liam get talking a little and he is still laughing at Sophie hitting Jonathon with her books and calling him brute. Sophie is going red in the face, but we all laugh. She is starting to relax. One of the soldiers from outside comes to the back door. Jones takes the parcels and then calls over Sophie. “What are you two up too?” I ask Sophie but she laughs and skips over to Jones. I don’t like her keeping secrets from me and I don’t like it that Jones has got something for her. It could be a trap. Ruairi is kicking me under the table as he is freaking out too.

Just as I stand up, Sophie spins round holding two t-shirts. “These are for you and Ruairi.”
